We’re sorry guys, someone left the NPR door open and Jason slipped out. It won’t happen again.

He has shown up at the Texas Open on several different occasions. I would be surprised if he didnt make the trip to the US Open honestly.I’ve played pool with Joe both at his office/studio and at his home in Austin, TX.
He’s a good player with very good mechanics, a solid foundation, a good stroke, and knowledgeable about the shots and positioning.
He seems to care a lot about the game, especially when one considers his set-up at both locations. One can tell that a lot of thought and preparation went into both.
He has a variety of some nice custom cues.
In my opinion only, finding time to attend a tournament or provide commentary might be the bigger issue.
As an aside, accommodating his security team might make the difference when deciding on an event to attend. In other words, I think it would be easier for him to attend a bigger event like the new location of the U.S. Open in Frisco, TX, versus the Texas Open in Round Rock in a small poolroom. With that being said, we did have dinner at a local restaurant, and only one person in the restaurant acted like they recognized him and approached the table.
Interesting, I must have missed that. To clarify, I'm not making a negative statement. I was there a lot and did not see him. Allegedly, I like to drink and that may have impaired my vision. Allegedly. I may or may not be very loud on the last 9 ball livestream. He has shown up at the Texas Open on several different occasions. If Rogan wants to help out the pool scene, maybe he can reach into his deep pockets and finance a decent paying tournament. I have absolutely no interest in hearing that human cue ball commentate a match he barely understands, and even less in watching him attempt to play.
