Joe Rogan Shooting Pool

Lifting

I lift weights a lot and it really screws up my fine movements. When my muscles are sore it's really hard to get them to play pool correctly.

Anyone else here have that problem?

I had the same problem. I try to stay away from any upper body, especially maxing out, a day or two before I have a tournament or league. I just do legs those days. Also, if I'm still a little sore, I try not to think about it or it gets in my head.

FWIW...

I'd pay to see Rogan choke out Dustin Diamond in the UFC cage.

Joe would be wasting his time with that clown.

Dustin Diamond is banned from our local Funny Bone Commedy Club because he's such a dousche...and well because he's not funny at all.

I've seen him making a fool out of himself on numerous reality shows bragging about how tough he is and that he's a black belt in this and that. I remember on one of those fat kid shows, he was telling some guy he'd rip his guts out. If they ever have a celebrity(using the term loosely) vs. nobody match with DD, let me know. I'd stand in line to shut him up.

You would be more of the celebrity in that one. DD is a nobody. What a jerk.

Pacquiao fights on the 28th.
He usually flies back to the islands the Saturdar after the fight ( to let his facial wounds heal ).
So July 3rd might be a good date.
Joe, just have Max call the Pacman. Pac sponsored his trip to the islands for the WPC qualifier two years ago iirc.

how about Batista? I saw on MTV cribs he has a pool table in his house and was shown shooting some balls in the program. Or Brandon "The Truth" Vera :D

OT: Joe whats your take in the so-called "premature stoppage" by the ref in the Vera vs Werdum in UFC 85 last June 7? Was our boy Vera robbed of a victory? ;)

Pac is about Joe's speed if Pac gets in stroke.
He has not played pool in a while but Max might get him in stroke.

Joe Rogan Vs Dave Batista in a cage... hmmmm... that's a tough one.

In pool, my money is on Rogan. The cage is a toss up.

I still think that Bobby Bellande is a great matchup for Joe - it would bring a lot of excitement to TAR.

In the cage I'd like to see Joe against Ned-Carlos "I steal jokes and lie about being Mexican" Holness-Mencia. You know, for funnsies :D

That's a schon unique. It's a one of a kind with ivory points with abalone inlays in them.

Max has been giving me some lessons lately. He really helps a lot.
One of my main problems besides the lack of time to practice and get into stroke is that I lift weights a lot and it really screws up my fine movements. When my muscles are sore it's really hard to get them to play pool correctly.

Actually a guy on my team has the same problem, but only on the days he has lifted before shooting. If he has a day or two of rest he is fine. There was a thread on here once about the subject, but I'm too lazy to search for it.

I play soccer every spring and fall (old man's league). During soccer season my game declines as well, but I think that may be more a reflection of how long it takes to recover at 60+.
