Joe Rogan Shooting Pool

Careful, he's part Filipino.:D
He shot with a busted Weston when I saw him.
Busted buttcap.
Bobby has more gamble in him than anyone I know here.
Most shooters here are knits.:D

It's the perfect match-up...

and having Bobby and Joe hook it up for TAR would bring some much needed exposure to the game of pool.

The poker crowd would love it.

The MMA crowd would love it.

The Survivor crowd would love it.

The Fear Factor crowd would love it.

and... nobody will talk more $hit during the build-up than Bobby or Joe -
You could even have them weigh in at the Hard Rock in Vegas ...

Like I said ... It's the perfect matchup!

we play cheap-$20 We play 9 ball, 1p, 8 ball. 9ball I like my end of it, 1P we play 10-5(and i still hate it), 8 ball is stealing for me. Winner buys sushi so the winner is the loser after dinner.

This year if we can get his worthy opponent Daniel Negreanu interested. Did I mention that Daniel doesn't know about the match yet:D

We have some people trying to get to him. If all else fails I am going to his forums and pull a Bucktooth.

"If you had a heart bigger than a fleas ass you would play Joe for BIG $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$"

Hopefully it won't come to that.

Bad news. I saw Daniel a few days ago at the WSOP, and we spoke briefly. I told him he looked good in his "pool" commercial. He told me he was more of a snooker player (he's from Canada). I asked him if he remembered Joe Rogan and he rolled his eyes, and said "Surrre". I told him Joe played a fair game of pool and would like to challenge him to a match.

Daniel contemplated a moment and said "Nah, I'm not interested". Right now, he is up to his ears with Poker at the WSOP. I don't see much prospect for this match unless Joe and Daniel are to meet again, and Joe makes a public challenge to him. If it can somehow be a high profile "event", where they both can profit, I just don't see it happening.

I have the perfect opponent for Joe Rogan -

Jean-Robert "Bobby" Bellande.

That would be awesome!

I used to play "Big Bobby" One Pocket. We would play for one or two hundred a game. I gave him 9-8 a couple of times and played him even at his home room. He can play and he's got gamble! Not soft action by any means.

What about Josh Arieh? If I remember right he used to hustle pool in Atlanta.

This might be a great idea. I would do it as an Undercard rather than a main event though.

I used to play Josh in Atlanta. Mainly one pocket but a couple times we played 9ball. Not sure how he or Joe is playing right now.

Bodog could potentially be a secondary sponsor with TAR. JA seems to do alot with them.

Seems like a good fit for TAR. A Joe/Josh match and then I would find two entertaining talkative players to play right after them. McCready and
someone maybe. Would be a big boost for TAR and might bring in some
outside people from different sports.

We know Bobby's not soft action - and we also know he's not quiet. A good match-up like this is what pool needs.

A short race in 9 ball, 10 ball, or 1 hole -

To make it interesting, the loser has to eat a bucket of cockroaches and other assorted larvae.

Joe doesn't eat this sh-t. He just dishes it out! :)

What about John Hennigan? Is he showing any interest in pool at all? I'd love to see him hook it up with somebody of equal strength -

Perhaps we could even stage a rematch of Tito Ortiz Vs Ken Shamrock -

Ken flat out hustled Tito on The Ultimate Fighter - Tito is still shaking his head about that one. He got played - BIG TIME!

:p

John rarely plays pool, but when he did he was a serious player, as in big money! There is no one mentioned that is in his league. Bobby wouldn't get near him. And neither would I! :)
They don't call him Johnny World for nothing.

That is bad news Jay.There was a lot of potential in that match up. I would love to see that one go off.

FWIW...

I'd pay to choke out Dustin Diamond in a cage match. That guy is an effin' *****!!!!

Screech knocked the crap out of Horshack on celebrity boxing (Horshack was 30 years older than him at the time) - I'd like to see him get in the cage with Joe. LOL

Careful now... he hates being called "Screech". I wish I could have a "fundraiser" to pay my mortgage

That is a bummer... I think Daniel could do alot for pool if he had the time. (he has the money!)

Im not sure how anyone could get ahold of this guy, but he would be a nice match up for Joe. .

I think there is a poster on this forum that works for the heat???

He actually ate a giant cockroach in one of the episodes to encourage one of the contestants. He's probably eaten a few other "delicacies" just by hosting that show. If he pops in he can enlighten us I'm sure :p

Thanks for asking Jay. Can't say that the answer surprises me. I know Jean-Robert Bellande was in the TARPIT for a little while sweating Alex vs Shane I think Chad talked to him for awhile. I personally know nothing about the guy but he sounds like a good match. What do you think Joe?

Yeah in the G2 commercial he says he works on his golf game just like his pool game lets make it happen.

Cool videos. Was that the mandatory "I bought a Sardo rack but now it just sits under the table" rack I saw in there :D Same thing happened to everyone I know who got one.

Max does a pretty good Grady impression too. Should of dropped a "Fraught with peril" on that shot from the 4 to the 5. Looks like Negreanu has some competion if we can get him on board.

What cue were you playing with there Joe? Looked like some kind of ebony with ivory points maybe, steel jointed ...pretty sporty.

Thanks for posting the vids Blackjack.

I believe it is a one-of-a-kind Schon cue.

I had never seen Joe plays until now, but he plays good.
