Joe Rogan

Very cool guy. Had the pleasure of a 2-3 hour set with him in Asheville after one of his comedy shows. If you haven't seen his standup you ain't lived. Very, very funny. Hope to see him again when he come to Vegas on February 1st.

Yeah I agree Steve. One of his standups is/was on Netflix for streaming. If anyone has time I recommend it. Dude is naturally hilarious.

Joe's a little busy these days, with the UFC, comedy gigs and much, much more. I'm surprised he ever finds time for pool, but I know he loves the game. He told me once his two favorite sports are UFC and pool. Joe is a super cool guy in person and a very healthy man. He looks like he could go a couple of rounds in UFC if he wanted to.

Ever thought of guesting in his podcast? Would love to hear your pool stories told live.

Watching MMA just isn't the same when you aren't behind the mic. Always get a kick out of your posts on the UG as well. Shoot 'em up!

I read here more than I post, but I do browse the forum several times a week. I just started playing again pretty regularly and I'm really enjoying it. It started out with meeting every monday night to play with my comedian friend Dom Irrera, and that eventually led to me playing in a few tournaments recently and I've really been enjoying it.

I'm in Chicago right now, and I just got done playing at Marie's Golden Cue with Joe Gold of Cognoscenti cues.
I actually get to play more when I'm on the road than when I'm home these days.
Pool is an amazing game, and I'm pretty sure I'll be firmly addicted to it for the rest of my life :)

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. I really appreciate it.

Oh hell like I needed another reason to like Joe Rogan now I find out that not only do you play pool you actually comment on this forum. Nice man. I watch your podcast as often as possible. You should bring on some pool players and shoot the breeze and knock some balls around while you do the podcast.

Might be fun if you & Nora Jones got together if both of you were ever in the same town at the same time. I understand she looks for a place to play while on the road...

Thanks, brother. I really appreciate that. I sure do love me some MMA. Funny thing is, last time there was a TAR match in Vegas the same day as the UFC I was looking forward to that as much as the fights! I had Justin giving me the score as the match went on and I was telling him who won the fights :)

Joe played in Los Angeles at the Hard Times first Sunday tournament last month and I was highly impressed with his play. I saw him runout a couple of times from very difficult situations. He pockets the balls well and moves the cue ball around very well.

It appeared to me that he has spent a lot of time on the table and would probably be a high A level player if he played more. I'm sure he would be good doing commentary. I hope I didn't knock your action too much Joe.

Hahaha, thanks, man. I'm gonna try to make it out to that tournament more often. I might head out there this Sunday.

Joe is in the movie "here comes the boom" dvd/blue ray now out in your favorite video shops.

she's come a long way since that elen appearance.

Joe, loved your recent blast of actors and hollywood on your podcast, especially calling out Sean Penn at the Oscars! If you guys haven't checked it out, it's straight truth!!!

Seriously, your commentary is actually what made me a UFC fan. You make it easy to understand and exciting to watch.

Joe Rogan in character channeling the pearl vs Earl....now that is a PPV I would sign up for in a heartbeat........well....on second thought......only if Joe played with a Meucci.

(Obviously I loved that utube video of Joe doing an impression of Earl)

Feeling at Home Here

I'm a big fan of Joe Rogan's. His commentary in the UFC is what got me into BBJ. I also am a big O and A fan (Baby Bird was the a classic). Nice to see that there are others on here that appreciate his talents.
