I was wondering if anybody has heard of joey barnes from the dallas area. i will be traveling there in a couple of weeks and his name has been mentioned for some action. heard he is a strong shortstop. anybody got any tips?

Joey plays just about everywhere there is money to be made. If you come to Dallas during the week, head up to Clicks on Skillman on Wednesday. There is plenty of action for just about every level of play. Hell, Cardone has been in action with Lizard for a while now up there.
i was told he plays hard for the cash, 9 ball player mostly but plays decent one hole. i was advised i cant beat him even but i love to match up. might get lucky who knows?

you mean '"the quiet man" chen. the terror from taiwan. he is a bad man, but the best in dallas? i wouldnt think so
i havent been around the dallas area in a while, so you might be right about chen. i just find it hard to believe that he can beat people like little al, tj davis, and ive heard stories of this joey barnes guy. you also have guys like coy lee, fat ralph, newkirk, i also heard that david g moved up there. maybe i should start a new thread on the best players in the dfw area.
no way chen hit's them the best in the dallas area, especially if David G and Little Al are there. Joey for sure would beat chen too. If you want to play Joey I wouldn't advise playing him even unless you can beat the likes of Bullard and chen and the rest. Joey is a very strong short stop. But if you can beat him...then by all means play him. And if you do, I'll take the 6 and out and the breaks when I see you.
haha so ive heard. i was told that joey was offering chen 1 game on the wire in a race to nine for 1 or 2k and was politely turned down. i think i might know who joey is. is he a black man maybe in his early forties with salt and pepper hair. smokes menthols.
