John Davis Full Spliced Blank, or continue the search for a Titlist to convert?

Get a Davis blank. Titleists are low end, mass production cues that were made by the hundreds of thousands. Chances of getting one convertable is slim, and getting one that can be easily convertable so that the cue can have the builder's standard dimensions and even points is even more far fetched. By getting a Davis blank you'll be getting a peice of history, kinda like a Titleist, but a low production & prestigeous blank instead. Plus it'll be large enough for your builder of choice to do whatever he needs to do to make it a nice cue for you.

I would also recommend prather for full splice blanks. The points are a little shorter which IMO look better for unwrapped full splice cues.
