I am going to cut the extension down a few inches to fit in my case pocket. Has anyone ever cut the mesh down, I will need to take a couple of inches off the mesh, is it like rope, I planned on taping it at the spot I am going to cut, just wondered if anyone had any hints. Thanks, Tom

If you click on the cue extenders and then use the drop down menu to select a size, that website now shows that he sells 12" and 14" ones in addition to the 16", 18" and 20" ones (which is all I thought there was).
 
I have emailed John before and never get an email back. I already have two 20 inch ones and need to cut one down to 15 in. Tom

It's not easily done but I did it. The mesh is hard to cut but with a razor blade it can be done. You will have to tape it above where you will be cutting and then you will have to epoxy the silver cap back on so keep that in mind during the process. The plastic tube is a no brainer.

I used a cue extension made by Joe Porper for years. I lost it in Galveston. I just got a Hager Extender from Omega Billiards when I was at DCC. I've just started using it and I like it.
 
I had one and took it to DCC this year, it was taken out of my checked suitcase by TSA, it was not there when I got to the room. I called Southwest, but they did not find it. So I also bought another one from Mike at Omega. I just bought another from an AZer to cut down for my backup case which is only 14 in long. That is why I have to cut this one down. Thanks for the good advice. Tom
