John Schmidt 626 video Nov. 21 - semi-public (tickets required) viewing

I was actually watching a show last night where the guy was explaining the behaviors of a schizophrenic. People are out to get you, everything is a conspiracy, a coverup, people are doing these things specifically against you etc etc. I kinda knew all that in a general way but hearing it spelled out like that really put in perspective some things.

I actually wonder if Danny is aware of his alternate personality. I've heard of schizophrenics that were completely unaware of their alter-egos until a doctor was able to help. Interesting in that he's showing that same mindset, where he feels wronged all of the time and is stuck living in the past that many of them do.

Hopefully, his posts can be used to prevent gun ownership in the future. Sometimes these folks go completely off the rails and people are left wondering, "why didn't anyone notice the signs?"
 
I spent some time reading this thread earlier today attempting to find out something interesting about the run or ancillary topics. I learned nothing and regretted every minute spent. I'm just posting this in case someone else comes here for the same reason.

I've contributed significantly to the nothingness of it all. I have no real investment in it. I don't play or watch 14.1 and frankly don't follow "pro" pool closely enough to have heard of JS before his attempts. I've stayed primarily because of the absurdity and absolutely transparent denial by a few (or is it just one) who have a hard on for JS and the mere sport of sparring with their little minds. Lately however I have to say the lunatics have won by default as JS has completely failed to capitalize on his remarkable achievement.

I suspect that in 20-30 years he will have had enough personal views that some will still remember the date. I see a footnote in history, but nothing else, unless he can somehow back this up with a real straight pool practice record. Enjoy carrying his load.
