Just curious, why doesn't John Schmidt have his own forum in the Ask the Pro's Section? He seems to post quite a bit and is a great guy.

Lets not push it-Half the guys that ASK for one wind up ignoring it after a month or so id say let it be.

Another recommendation here. Any former US open champion, and a poster that can run 400 MUST have his own subforum.

Damn right, and if he don't respond, that's his prerogative.

I wish I had a forum here on the AZ so I could ignore people and make myself feel important.:o

probably not a good idea

As JoeyA hinted at in another thread and John has stated himself in the past, he isn't much of a typist. Keeping up with his own forum would be a real burden and he is just the kind of guy to try to do so.

I think the idea of him basically being the AZBilliards forums horse is a great idea as long as he and Mike are happy with the concept and until he gets a better deal but we don't want to distract him with a forum taking a bunch of his time.

shooting arts is right

you know its funny but there is so many times that i would like to discuss things with people ,but i type so slow that my whole life would be taken up trying to type to you guys.i would love to have my own ask the pro deal but really its not a good idea.like shootingarts said i would try to respond to questions and i just cant type fast enough.i have to use one finger and not look up from the keyboard to type.its brutal not only that my punctuation and spelling is horrible but you guys seem to look past that so i can get my points across.i do read just about everything on this forum when im not busy and i really get a kick out of reading everybodys stuff.talk to you guys later

John,

Please forgive my suggestion. I had no idea. It's an honor and a privledge for us to get to converse with you directly.

I just thought it odd that we had one of the best U.S. players without his own forum. You're a class act and I'm all for whatever suits you best.
