*john schmidt vs shawn putnam* live now

Very cool show! Lots of AZ'ers on there. Good feed too and nice chat. GREAT PLAYERS! Schmidt and Putnam in the finals in a few minutes, race to 11. Shawn just knocked Scotty Townsend out.

John Schmidt smoked him 11-5 in the Finals. BigDog puts on a good show and he's good on the mic'.

It was an awesome show. Pockets was one of my home rooms about 10 years ago, before I moved to Houston, so it brought back alot of good memories watching the stream.
Jay, guess who was in attendance at the trny? JR Goff aka "Lefty"!
I was telling Big Dog, that he had a living legend in attendance, so he brought Jr over to the mic briefly. He said hello to me, and asked me how I was hitting them.......I conveyed to him, that the action was tough out here in Houston.
They also got Jr on stream playing a little bank pool by himself, and he was hitting them good. He can still dab it to be 87 years young.
BigDog was amazed at the way he was knocking the banks in so precisely. I was telling BigDog, that if he had been filming Jr about twenty years ago, Jr would have run like hell, as he did not like the cameras, or the spotlight.
I am going back home this Summer, and I am going to visit JR, and I am going to try and convince him to make the trip with me next year to the DCC.
Thanks BIGDOG for the hospitality. I had a great time, and it was a great stream. See you next time.

Junior is one of the last surviving links to another era of pool, when Mosconi and Lassiter reigned. Clem and White Rags ruled One Pocket pre Ronnie days. Cannonball and Taylor were the best Bankers.
