John Schmidt @ World Pool Championship?

why is the date set like that? Why take this chance from John to go to the WPC? As for me, it could be the only chance to meet him personally btw, which I wish very much. Why not to postpone the match with Harriman so that John could fly to Manila? I've heard about some financial problems but he's got sponsored by Gulyassy cues now? The amount needed is three times less than one for AC2 entry fee.

JCIN, could it be changed? I understand John would better stay in the US and probably earn some cheese rather than go to Manila and blasts the field. But what if he had a chance to do both? Isn't it better?

I believe they are in negotiations as we speak to see which one will get a partial sponsorship from Natural Cures and Kevin Trudeau. I can see it now, "American 8-ball legend Bernie Friend lives final days in Phillipino prison".
