More flat out lies from the guy that doesn't understand squat about it. You can say it hasn't a million times, and all it does show that you are not here to learn, only to destroy. You took offense to Stan, and are out on your little revenge vendetta to try and smear him and his system. Proof of your revenge vendetta is that with CJ, all you do is praise him, and never once say anything about the nonsense he says, which is a hundred times more than you make up about Stan. You aren't out to help anyone, just get revenge for a perceived slight. What you do is nothing more than harassment.

Yeah I cant disagree with that assessment. Such discord over aiming a little pool ball. When it comes down to it you either have it or you don't and its a real pity when you finally get to meet someone from here and you find out what a great guy he might be in person. It was sad that it came down to what it did but you know the mouth can get one in some serious trouble.

On a more positive note. There was a lot of good in it as well. I would think John learned something. There was action around the game, people are supposed to be excited about matchups, drama....people love some drama. I miss JB a little actually but the sillyness over CTE vs. The Naysayers I could do without. Stan wasnt gone 5 minutes before the Naysayers broke off into....We feel more than you do...vs...the System feelers....Christ the Naysayers eat their own young...lol

Pool players are quite a crew indeed.

They get no warnings about contributing to the discussion; they get no warnings about ad hominem attacks; and even Stan got pretty hysterical there for a while and made numerous personal attacks. But no warnings, much less any vacations.

Just look at the recent attacks against PJ and Dr. Dave. Mr. Wilson would have bopped all of them if those posts had been made by a "nonbeliever."

As for aiming methods the way it was described to me its a one size does not fit all kind of thing. While I can agree with that to an extent there is a lot in that argument that I cant agree with. I dont think any kind of complication helps much of anything. Every time I get distracted I do something stupid on the table. I like my aiming simple and full of feel, perhaps some directed feel so Im a little closer to the mark to start off with.

Thats why I am an advocate of playing people. More people should play each other from here. This way we get to see who has game and who doesn't. You also get to know people. Mouth doesn't make shots go in. I wish we could arrange matches here and maybe even have a stream or You Tube them for all to see, this way if you run your mouth all of the time you might get challenged and then its put up or shut up.

It might be a might unfair as you suggest but hey..you won! That has to keep you warm at night at the very least.

You won and you have the satisfaction that you acted right and conduct yourself as a gentleman on here...even if you have to...the point is....you do.

That counts any way you slice it.

I would LOVE for some of these guys to have to prove they can play at all. But, that will never, ever happen for the simple reason that they can't play a lick.

Freebie number two I believe the good Dr. would recommend putting your hand on the table and using the V formed by your thumb and first finger to determine that.
However the back of the ball method is better and easier IMO.

I agree with the BOB method. Curious where you learned it. Because I know that when I discovered it after learning his 30 degree rule, I posted it here. Without his 30 deg. rule, I never would have realized how simple it really is to be very accurate with it.

Dave, unlike you, I can't stand the crap on here and do my best to correct it. I don't like misinformation being put out. That helps no one. If your goal is to truly help others, then you shouldn't like it either. What you call childish, I call fighting for what is right.

When good people like you do nothing, then the forums become what the are now. A few that constantly spew misinformation in a feeble attempt to try and be somebody on here.

But, since some of it is your info being slandered, and you don't seem to care, why the heck should I care? Rick and a few others already drove Stan, one of the top instructors in the country, off of here. Guess that doesn't matter to you at all. The mods won't do anything about cleaning this place up, so either we are left with making sure correct info is put out ourselves, or there will be nothing but incorrect info for the majority of it on here. Guess you decided which you want to happen.

Oh, in case you don't read a lot on here, this isn't the only thread that some are slamming your work. CJ and Rick and Mikjary do it a LOT. But, again, if it doesn't matter to you, fine. I'm sick of it.

I appreciate your passion and enthusiasm, but sometimes you "encourage" the immature brats too much by playing their stupid game. I think the same can be said for PJ; although, he has been much better behaved since his triumphant return (and he often offers good insight and excellent illustrations).

I appreciate that you defend me at times. If people want to "slam" my work, they certainly have that right; but I think in most people's eyes, this slamming would reflect poorly on them. Most people appreciate and value my stuff; and I'm happy to let people judge for themselves if my work is of value or not, as compared to what others have to offer.

PJ does offer decent illustrations in various areas but not for everything. His illustrations just like your website have misleading incorrect information and you know what specific subject that is. Triumphant return? LOL Much better behaved?

Were you or were you not yourself one of the long time original "slammers" of CTE on CCB and here? I guess you've seen the light, huh?

Should Stan have a target painted on his back along with all the work he's done with CTE? Your boy PJ certainly hasn't lightened up with his lifetime mission of trolling to discredit it nor do you care.
