anyone know where these can be found? all i see are ss jointed cues on the OB cue website
poolplayer,
John, at one time, played with a protoype cue we built for him.
The knowledge we gained from that helped us to develop the cue he plays with now, our 408 series cue with an OB-2 shaft.
The 408 is a 12 point cue with really nice fleur de leis inlays at the tips of the points. A beautiful cue!
You can find it at many of our dealers. We are currently out of stock, but should have more finished in a few weeks.

The "White Light" is a synthetic thermoplastic. It is fairly light in weight, so it does provide what we were looking for in a joint material.
The joint screw is our standard 5/16x14, but without the steel joint, the hit is totally different. It is very much lighter in weight, so it gives a more solid , less "Pingy" hit that has more feel than with a steel collar.
These cues are really very nice. Great woods so they look fantastic, and they play jam up! You can get it with either the OB-2 or the OB-2 shaft. You could even get it with the break shaft if you wanted a fancy breaker.
At $440.00 complete, it's a great deal too!
We don't have them on the website yet, they are available. We have the same cue stained either brown or gray, with a wrap and the steel joint.
