Hello, does anyone here have copies of the old John Wright cue sale pages that he mailed out? And/or any of the photos?

Looking for pages older than the Palmer Collector website, no need to show those.

Will gladly pay for a copy of a specific page from ~1990.

Will also pay for a referral that leads to the pages

Thank you for your consideration

Cues for sale years ago.jpg

go to palmer collector-
click on "blast from the past"
As he said, the year he is not looking for is not there.

Every time this comes up I am frustrated by the reminder that I lost all mine about 25 years ago.

I think mine went back to 90 or 91, but don't remember for sure.

I bought a couple of fancy Gus Z. cues from him back in the early 90s, but don’t recall he ever mailed me anything,
Interesting guy. I used to beat him regularly on his own home table 😁.

I remember when John passed,
He has a son who took over John's remaining inventory,
Possibly look him up and see if He may assist you.

John used to mail out Polaroid pics monthly from his place in Palatine, of all new cues he had for sale. He truly was one of the first cue dealers..

A great friend of mine had two file boxes of every monthly mailing. Years of them. He lived in Mt. Prospect which is about 10 miles from Palatine.

He lent them to me once and they were a treasure trove of custom cue history. Gus cues for 350 dollars back in the day. Some extraordinary cues.

I believe he just sold the lot of them recently and I got to say they were truly fabulous.

I remember getting those but never thought to keep any. I do have his card and a few of the foil prints he gave out with cues when I bought my first Southwest from him. Paid 275 for that one and regret selling that.
