Johnny Archer snaps his cue in half

This incident is not to be comapred with the unusually poor sportsmanship Sigel exhibited when he intentionally broke his cue during the 2000 BCA Staight Pool championships in his match with John Schmidt.

Well heck...that's because the great Sigel was getting killed by (what he thought was) a "nobody"! :D Bet he doesn't think that anymore. John Schmidt is an extremely talented player, with a big future!

Like ZOMG what a black eye on the sport. Where are the hater.......must find the haters.

Does Archer actually use cues "right out of the box" or does he use a non-fiberglass encased wooden shaft?

I think he intentionally put force on the cue out of frustration, but I honestly don't think he meant to breat it. I wish I had an old cue that I didn't care about to see exactly what kind of pressure it took to break a cue.
