johnny archer

i second that...Johhny A was and is still one of my favorite players...I got a chance to meet Johhny at Brass Tap...man is he tall...but just as nice as can be..got a autograhped tee shirt as well..way to go Johhny ..new you still had game left in you...

I'll third that... Watching him on TV I thought he was like 6'5" or something but after seeing him in real life I think he is about 6' even.

And congratulations to Thorsten on another great showing. It could have easily gone his way if it weren't for a bad roll. There are so many great players these days, that if you win one of these high profile events, you have truly done something great.

I was pulling for Chao as he is one of my favorites. But if anyone else had take the title, I'm glad it was Johnny. Congrats on the win!

Congratulations to the Scorpion for the GREAT win!

USA, ALL THE WAY! USA, ALL THE WAY!

Johnny definitely had the crowd on his side throughout! I'm sure that helped him out too (as if he needs help).

Johnny won a Pro-Am on Wed night after the round finished, beating Thorsten & partner in the finals ironically enough. It was race to 3 nine ball.

I should've seen the foreshadowing and bet high!

Well done to the scorpion he truly deserved the win I mean if you can break the balls the way he can then may the keep on rollin in.

Congrats Johnny.

good win for archer, but dont believe in 1 game take all if tied after 1 set each

Good point. It's not a good way to figure "who is playing better" to play one game between two armatures, let alone two top level pros on top of their game.

Funny line from yesterday

So I'm in the stands in the Wolf Den and Thorsten and Johnny are about to lag for the break.

A guy behind me yells out of nowhere, "I got winners".

Lol, the whole crowd cracked up.
