Joint collar width

Anyone knows what the typical width of the black joint collar in a classic design like this is (Tascarella, Hoppe etc )? Is it .500? Less ?

.500" is 1/2 inch Catalin, that's about 12.7mm
Most makers have their measurement, but they all hover in the .800" range, or just over 21mm
 
He is talking about the thickness of the black joint ring below the stainless collar.

Not sure what measurements those guys used, but yes, .500 is about right. When I order a cue, and supply specs, thats the measurement I use. :thumbup:


The top cue with the .750 white collar, has a .500 black ring below it.

I would say .50 is about right.

Nice Bocote in your middle cue!
