Favor. Can someone confirm this is a radial joint? This is on a Tim Scruggs cue. Thanks!

Thanks. I was 99% sure but I have also heard Scruggs didn’t make a lot with radial pins.

they came into fashion as Tim was nearing the end of his production.

If the implication is that rarity adds value, IMO, it does not in this case.

Not looking to sell so don’t care too much about how rare. I was thinking of a CF shaft. I have a Pechaeur Rogue and it’s fine, but was thinking of a cynergy. Thoughts what else matters besides pin? Radius of joint?

the threads- tpi- also matter.

The folks you choose to buy from should likely be able to get you pointed i the right direction re: what you need.

The word joint got me excited there for a while then I see that screw .
I was gonna vote for Jamaican and Oregonian .

Thanks. Will a radial joint CF shaft work?

Yes Sir.
Some times the C/F shaft is very snug and has to be chased with a tap but it's the same thread. Mr. Scruggs and Mr. Cochran only used authentic radial screws from Uni lic corp supplied to Atlas Billiard supply.
