I think JOSS cues needs to go back to the traditional long white butt cap and not the short ones they use now. What do you all think is the more stylish cue butt?:p

For the most part i agree but i think the shorter but cap looks good on some cues

I have to agree....my first cue was an N-5. I wont play with anything but a Joss these days...But really, the worst thing they did is make cues with like an 8 inch taper instead of the longer taper.......

Dan will build a cue the way you want it. Short butt, long butt, pro taper, no taper, what ever. I had him make me a COM copy a year ago 60" long. No problem. I asked for 2 - 12.75 mill. shafts for it. No problem. Is what you are calling a short butt the butts with the Hoppe rings?

Cheaper to make a short B/P? It actually cost more because there are two parts to the black and white B/P

....which is why I still own my first Joss ever.... your customer service is beyond superior...

To the OP - just call, Dan will surprise you.
 
WOW Dan replied to my post! I am honored. Seriously! I have absolutely no doubt about the customer service when it comes to Joss cues. What I mean by my initial post is the production line not the custom line. I just think that players favor the traditional long butt over the shorty. That is what I am trying to figure out. Is it my own personal taste or that of the general player. I love Joss cues and stand by them firmly.
