Anybody know what kind/ hardness etc. tip that Joss uses?
I replaced my tip recently with a lepro and it doesn't have the same spin. I will replace again if I know what was on it. Thanks T

According to the current web site it could be:

Le-Pro (standard)
Layered Wizard
Original Champion
Layered JOSS Premium
Kamui

And then if it is a Thor Hammer break cue they also have their own JOSS tip I believe.

Sooo...I am not sure we can say what was on the cue before. If you contact JOSS and give the serial number they might be able to tell you what tip was originally on the cue.

it depends when did you buy it and from where, but I remember back in the old days whenever I bought a joss cue it usually comes with a Joss tip, I don't know where in the market you can find such a tip, but its been used before, and Joss tip usually is a tip that doesn't have layers and it looks almost identical to a lepro.

also there's good chance that you had a a lepro on it, but maybe a good one, and the one you are using now is a bad lepro, so if at all possible maybe try installing another lepro and see how it goes.

Thanks for responses. The guy that put it on thought is was a lepro and that's what I use so I said ok ,but this tip seems harder and even sounds different

LePro tips are pretty inconsistent. They aren't bad tips IMHO, just inconsistent. I still have my little stash of LePro tips that were culled back in the 1980's. I like them and still use them when I put a tip on by hand.
