Up for sale is my Josswest. Actually I'm going to try and run an auction here in the thread based on a suggestion by Joe (classiccues).
Here's how it will work. If you are interested in the cue, post in the thread with the price you're willing to pay. Please look to the last post in the thread to see where the bid currently is and if you want to bid higher, please do so. Obviously, there is a reserve so if it's met I will sell it to the highest bidder. The reserve will be set low considering what the value of this cue should be.
I will let this run for 5 days and it will end at 6pm EST on Monday the 23rd.
Here is the description of the cue.
This is a really nice classic Josswest. It has the sideways "w" to indicate it was made between 1972-1980. It has 4 nice sharp Rosewood points into a nicely figured curly birdseye maple forearm and a rosewood buttsleeve. The wrap is white with brown spec Courtland linen and it has a 5/16x14 joint.
It comes with two shafts with mircarta(?) ferrules and Morri meduim tips.
The specs are as follows:
Butt-15.90oz
Shaft 1-4.05mm and around 13mm
Shaft 2-4.35mm and around 12.50mm
This cue is an absolute Monster player. The shafts have really nice tight grain as you can see in the third photo. It is in excellent condition but does have a slight roll in the butt section. It really isnt that bad and having played with it myself a few times, I can tell you it doesn't effect play at all.
Good luck~!
