I am going to be buying a jump cue, is the Predator Air worth the extra money, or should I just get a luccasi or something similar?

Thanks,
Ben

Air

The Air is really nice once you get use to it. I love mine now I have used it for 6 months and learned not to hit to the side at all (the cue puts alot of spin on the CB)

Is it better then others on the market for the money?
Well the best players I know do not use then and can jump great
I jumped well with my other jump stick, but I can jump closer to a ball with the air

I hope this helped at least a little :o

I have used the Pred Air, and no it's not worth the money. It jumped, perhaps a little easier, but paying the double isn't worth it. If you can't jump, you will still not be able to jump with the Pred Air.

perhaps i need to clarify my position a little better. I had a Fury J/B, but it broke and i upgraded to a BK2 to break with, this is obviously only a break cue. I jumped fairly proficiently with the Fury. So do i get the "best" most expensive jump cue or just an ordinary one?

Thanks,
Ben

I've got a pred air and it is slightly easier to jump with than the mezz i had before. I feel like i can get a lot more control with the pred.

well... basically, let me give u my 2cents. hmmm, how often do u jump? you see, no doubt every shot is important, but there is a limit to what u can do with your jump. and lets just say if u can jump 8ft with any jump cue, why spend so much more to try to jump that 1 more ft, when that added cash does not even guarantee it. and lets say u can only jump 1ft, what makes you think the most expensive cue can help u jump 2ft?
with that said, i suggest getting a cue which u enjoy jumping with. some people like lots of feedback, some do not. So try many and see what you like. if you find one cheaper than the predator air, i further suggest u send the money saved to me... :D
Cheers...

To me, a standalone jumper jumps much better than a J/B. Do you have a phenolic on your Fury? You might want to try hard leather for more control, but it's little harder to jump.

I have used a variety of jump cues and jump break cues. My preference now is the Stealth AT-1. With this jump cue you can have both a longer jump cue and a regular length jump cue. I believe the long configuration is approx 50 inches. You remove the back end of the butt and you have a 40-41 inch jump cue. It's this flexibility that works for me.

Get a Jacoby Jumper. IMO they are the best jump cue for the money. Check out my link below for the ones I have for sale.

Jacoby Jumpers Link

I have to agree with KOINKID 100%
Jacoby Jumpers is the best jump cues I have ever tried, I have tried about 10 different Jacoby Jumpers I am only saying that to point out it wasn't one cue and just happened to jump well everyone jumps amazing with Control.
I have tried a lot other jump cues and j/b cues as well: Bunjee, Lucasi, Predator air, Sledgehammer I&II, Arnot j/b, Woodworth j/b, Gulyassy from Samsara, Falcon, Bear, Adam, Fury, McDermott etc....
Jacoby is my all time favorite!!!
