Some pics I got at the Jr Nationals.
Our home room in Ayer MA had two finalists in the tournament, girls 14 and under and the boys 14 and under.

Johnny Archer, John Schmidt, Mark Wilson, Justin Bergman sweating the Junior Semi/Finals action

At Bankshot Billiards, which used to be a bank. Neat vault in middle or room. Room was just a few blocks form the tournament area and was filled with kids all week.

hang-the-9...Nice pics! It was great to meet you and your son Alex last Wednesday. It was a pleasure to see all the excited young players competing in the Jr. Nationals, and I enjoyed having it at the trade show! That's Mosconi Cup team member John Schmidt, me, and Dr. Don Wardell (williebetmore) in the Mosconi Cup booth with Alex. Don and John were in an excited conversation about motorcycles...I was clocking Alex's game! :D

Too bad the total player numbers have dramatically diminished. Ten years ago attendance was double.

Even last year there were lots more. The 14 and under boys had 28 this year and about double that last year. Although this year they may have kept the numbers low due to having less tables.

To win in the girls categories you need to win like 2 or 3 matches, there are about 10 entries.

Missouri

Looks like we were pretty strong there as well. Nick and Ricky Evans, Deven Poteet, Keith Mckewin, and Koty Lovell all did well. Did any other states show up?

Congrats to all the young champs. Can't wait to bet on and against you all in the future.

I totally forgot to credit you in that picture, and thanks for coming over to say a few words to help Alex with his game. It helps having someone other than me give advice to him, as the natural instinct of a kid is to do the opposite of what your parents say
