Contradiction in terms?

"Just" a Kersenbrock belongs among understatements like

"Just a winning lottery ticket" or "Just a Ferrari"

I always enjoy seeing DPK's work; thanks for the post

Speaking to Dennis Dieckman recently, he told me that he was influenced by Dave Kersenbrock's short butt cap. Here are pics of an early Dieckman butt cap and a more recent one.

Thank you for the info on the Contradiction.LOL. And thank you for the pics and info on the Dennis Dieckman short butt cap. Not many cuemakers went with that. They either went with the parabolic taper, forward weight, or the ring stitching.

Nice piece of history. Back in the very early years of ebay, I passed up a chance o bid on a Kersenbrock cue....could have had it for under $800! I kinda regret not buying that one!

They play very solid. There are a lot of cuemakers that follow the DPK standards for the playability. That was a great price.

I wish David Paul Kersenbrock was an azbilliards member. He would like to see this baby again. I'm sure of it.

If Boeing strikes, my 1970 cue might have to be for sale. OUCH:confused: . I'm hoping for no strike.

If David were an AZer, we'd all have to learn a new language.
Or keep a psych manual next to our PC's to understand him, ;)
He is, the mad scientist.

Awesome piece O wood there, poolrod. You know I love that one too.

*goes and prays for Boeing strike* LOL!

He makes cues that last well over 30 years though. Thats amazing. It plays as good as the day I got it.

Send a picture to Ed Young. He might give it to Dave to look at.

I sent my recent DPK to the shop where David looked at it and made me a new shaft.
