played with it tonite for a few minutes ast Victor Billiards on a great table, wow what a great room Gary has. It was a gas stop $$$ making spot of mine for years from 92-97, i never lost once in there. But nobody could play either, it was awalys a good room for $40-$100 every time.
Back to the cue.....Its not my bag, Its perfect in everyway and built as good as a cue can be built. Its the quality of any cue anyone can name, its not possible to build a cue better. Here is the problem-me, not the cue. It has a very Bill Stroud fat heavy butt feel, It felt like one of Bills cues from 1974, just a little bit longer. I cant play a lick with a fat but cue. I went out and got my cue and the guy who knew me, I didnt know him at the table next to where I was playing said "Yeah I thought you played better than you just were with that other cue" or something along those lines, I wasnt playing very good anyways but I played with enough cues to know if I could adapt to a cue or not. there is no chance I could ever make this cue work for me, in the right hands it might be the best cue ever. But it dont bring the best out of me. Thick butt cues never worked for me.
I am triple sad about this, i really hoped I could play with it. Going back for more is pointless, its just to thick. I have tried for years to learn to play with thick cues and it never works, first custom cue I got was a JW I paid Bobby Hunter $1600 for it-before he built cues. I played and played with it, same as tonight I was missing balls everywhere.

man i'm not going to hoard this cue, i'm going to have to make some sort of deal on it, when I have time-and thats not now, end of summer.
best
