Need to know how to add weight to the cue? Thanks in advance if anyone can help. thanks, clint

Maybe the ask a cue maker section will help if you haven't already been there. I've only hit with 2 cogs. They seemed very very nice. good luck

One option is...you can have a new shaft made that weighs more....I did that with a cue that I bought, and that made it perfect for me...

It weighed 18.5 when I got it with a shaft that weighed 3.7....18.9 is my ideal cue weight, so I had a new shaft made that weighs 4.1, and now the cue is totally perfect to me.

Have you considered contacting the cue-maker? Joe has an account with AZ and his contact information is located in his one and only post (cognoscenti). As I stated in your previous thread, you can add up to 1 ounce to his cues. I would suggest you contact him if you are concerned about the how's of doing this, it might be the easiest course for you. Good luck.

I had the same problem and contacted Joe and he said to add a weight bolt. I added about 1/4 ounce bolt. I think the smaller the better. I had a 1 ounce bolt and it seemed to add a "ping" to the hit.

maybe some powered tungston glued behind a wood dowel would be better than a weight bolt?
