Just Call Me Earl of Denton County

The regulars here know that I really don't like playing APA but I do for my son and I love watching him grow in the game. That does not mean that I am still competitive. Well anyway this one team has a huge problem with me, probably because I left them about a year ago.

It started when I made the person I was playing rerack multiple time because the head ball was not touching the rest of the rack. I know it was possible because I had no problem racking correctly when I racked.

In the middle of my match (not after) another person from their team jumps all over me for rerack requests. I finished my matched and just walked away from them. Next thing I know, I am contacted by the LO because I am not sportsman like.

Yesterday, I was playing this team again. The entire time I am playing, my opponent is coughing and slobering all over the play. When the match ended, I refused to shake her hand especially because I just got over being sick. Without any delay another person (a 65 y/o at that) on her team literally ran to the LO to tell on me. I felt like I got into trouble at recess.

I forgot the best part, I am shooting a safety. I am 2" away from OB and the OB is about 1/4" from rail. As I am stroking the ball, the 65 y/o "pro" literally puts his head in front of the OB and says he is checking to see if the ball is frozen. This is after I asked him to check it before I shot. Too much fun.

I guess they just need to call me Earl. Well only when I play this one team who has it out for me.

Anyway, that is my rant for the day.

How dare you actually care about the game and how it is supposed to be played, you....you.....you unfun person :poke::bash::lol::lol:

Sorry... you have nothing in common with Earl...

I love having booths at the APA and the BCA and for that matter the ACS

I love the players there...their passion for the game brings back GREAT memories for me.
They're still learning the right and wrongs...my husband for instance...a non player. Came to watch me (his first pro event) I was playing Loree Jon a very good friend. Well when I made the 9 ball (an easy shot) he started hoopin' and hollerin' like he was at a baseball game...we both gave him the "Woman look" and he learned quickly, a nice clapping would work :)

Why I quit

I quit APA for stuff exactly like that. Way too many no talent hacks acting like you're playing for the World Championship.

First, I ain't 65 ya young punk

Second, it looked frozen and I was just checking again

Third, if you hit the rack like a real man, you wouldn't need to have them re-racked all those times ya big sissy....

Happy Holidays Dan

LMAO, you move like your 65!!!

that monkey was accusing me of being 65 just last week!

(i'm younger than 63, i'll have you know)

Hey, I was being nice. I figured you were older because you Social Security Number had only 7 digits and was printed on papyrus. I'll never make the mistake of assuming again Ms. Blah Blah.

Dont be mad at me because Im an APA 2.5 and can beat everyone in the room! For the record, the .5 is there because I lost a testicle to a guy named crawfish. LOL!

There's a team that we play every now and then and about a month ago when we played them I got stuck playing one of there 6's .

Well we lag for the break and I lose no biggie , I rack them he breaks doesn't get anything in , I run the rest of the rack then it's his turn to rack , well everytime I've played this guy he's been a pain in the neck about the rack .

He always seems to hover above you to see if you racking them tight well this night he didn't do it to me but I checked every rack we played and the first one get rack the one ball wasn't even frozen to the rack so I said nicely to him to re-rack . Well as soon as he went over and looked at the rack he just got really mad and slammed the rack on the table .I still beat him 19-1.

Sometimes I don't get ppl like that ,just like in play-offs we played the same team and good thing I checked the rack because nothing was froze , then I made the mistake of not checking it in the last rack and it was loose .
