I'll never understand why anyone would pay $15k-$20k for a table that plays like shit.

Actually the table plays really good. Other than having the black Simonis on it. The builder of the table actually used Artemis rail rubber (which really surprised me) and it also has very tight pockets. The cost was in the upper 20's. If you seen this table is person you would be amazed at the detail and how it plays!!!
To understand why someone would purchase a table like this is easy. It's an estate home and they can probably afford any table they want. Undoubtedly this is more of an accent to a man cave for a well to do individual. Just look closely at the fireplace, wood paneling, and other things in the background and you can understand. I have worked for billionaires in their private homes and for them it's a matter of choice not necessity as to how they live. Interestingly most of my high net worth clients are really generous, fun people that I enjoy working for and consider to be friends as well. JMO of course!!!
