I've killed a few weekly events and it sucks when they take your allowance away, lol.

Whaddya gonna do? Let somebody else have the fun for a while. Fuggit.

It is good they kept it going...for them!

Think Bar, Room Owner might be trying to protect income stream from people leaving over same winner.

The other 99% spend & pay bills.

Old sign said we have right to refuse service as we choose.

I do plenty of larger tourneys where I get my ass kicked on the regular. I'm no monster. This was a fun tourney though where I made lots of new friends.
Well if you made a lot of friends then keep going to celebrate friendships, play some Music, buy a round of drinks you've won enough to do that and have some fun, you might find out that the rest of the players push to get you back in.

no, you are obviously too good for them and they want their players to have a chance to win. your mistake for playing so strong and not giving lots of shots to players that wont beat you anyway. and if they knock you out it works in your best interest.

you burnt up a place to go and take your girl and have fun and win some money by slaughtering them.

Tourney organizers texted me and asked me not to come back cause I won the tourney 17 times out of 21 according to them ( had no idea they kept track ). I know I'm supposed to feel honored for being kicked out for being too good but I'm pissed. The wording implied I was a piece of sht for stealing and they got tired of it. It wasn't a sweet message at all. First of all it's an amateur tourney. I'm under 700! 100% not a pro. Nowhere near pro speed actually. Nobody would even call me a semi-pro. It just happens to be tourney packed with weak players. Not my fault. I told the organizers to make it handicap they turned that down. The tournament director has never won his own tourney I think that's what this is about. Or is he right? Where is the cutoff? Is it valid for me to be pissed? Now I'm thinking about all these other small tourneys I win and worry I'm gonna get similar texts. And no I don't only do small tourneys I gamble with monsters ( I get weight! ) and enter larger tourneys where I have no chance. I donate plenty myself. Whose side are you on? I have two friends who've gotten banned from tourneys and they both said it's normal welcome to the club. First time this ever happened to me. It's not even about the money, I have friends at those tourneys it's like I'm getting removed from a social scene for working my ass off.
I feel your pain. In my area, most tournaments are capped AND handicapped by fargo rating. They recently changed the Friday night bar table 8-ball tourney to 720 and under, which only eliminated two players who were already giving up big spots to everyone. That made me one of the top dogs. Then they went to 650 and under.

Nope, TD literally spelled things out. Anyone under 700 is not a pro in my opinion. I can't even hang with semi-pros. This is not the case of me being strong, it's just a weak tourney. I never thought about tipping TD maybe it's a good idea but can also look suspicious.
This is where you lost me. I've never NOT tipped the TD after a good cash.

Tell everyone you know how you were treated, and organize a boycott of the venue.

Should not be penalized for winning frequently.
Are you serious? Unless you're at the top level, that is exactly how pool works. You play too good, you get barred. You should know this since it's happening ALL OVER PHOENIX!

Well it’s about business and paying bills.

Use to be place in Peoria on Peoria, West of 101 Freeway.

Deli Sports Bar believe they were 30-40 players twice a week for their tournaments. 5-6 Valley bar Boxes

Stopped during Covid, was driving by Saturday. Place was just opening, as fried and I talk about place I stopped.

Asked manager you back doing tournments, he said no.

Business plan is to just do open play, when bar is open.

Said we are doing better with new plan. No more tournaments.

Well maybe you blew it when you move to Valley not slowing down, and sand bagging.

Phoenix has been that way 20 years, BEST PLAYERS have free opportunities.

Under old rating system be a Nine was like a bummer, as it was Open Tournament's only.

Most of events we 7’s and under, even 8’s we’re limited.

Should have ask before showing off.🤭

It's never been about the money for me, I do pretty well for myself. Also, I've known a lot of the top Phoenix players for years before I even moved here.
