Lek1 is trying to fraud me out of $260http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?p=4501996#post4501996. Should have known better. I purchased it for a friend. It was received with several dents all over the bottom of the shaft. We sent it back and had him sign for it. I have filed a claim with paypal. I am only going to deal with people with several itraders. Not worth the hassle
 
You sure seem to be having your fair share of problems with sellers as of late.

Were the dents too big to fix or just the fact that you weren't told about any problems with the cue.

Thats one of the things that is important in a sale. Communication between both parties and full disclosure.

You gain nothing in the long run by being dishonest or holding back info re the item.

Yep, I wouldn't consider paying anyone up front with "0" itrader for something that's at least not described in a very detailed/proper manner. Prime escrow opportunity there....or have them send the item to you first, assuming you as a buyer have a stellar rep. Too risky and then way too much hassle on the backend unless you funded your paypal with your credit card.

He stated it was in great shape. A serious amount of the shaft would have to be sanded to make it somewhat not noticeable. Coastmezz wanted it so I just paid for it. Paypal will resolve it. I not aware of any other seller issue I've had though. This site has been great other then this.

Well heck...you are doing good. I got screwed on my very first AZBilliard deal.

Seller said the butt and shaft were both straight-----LOL---------nothing was straight.

Then when I told him about it, he said he didn't turn the lights on when he checked it.:eek:
 
The stinky thing about iTrader here is it is unregulated and very easy to create fake ratings via different MAC and IP addresses so feedback here means nothing really. PayPal actually used to have a good rating system but they did away with it. Sux when this happens. PayPal tends to side with the buyer tho so u should be all set

As a note..

I'm glad it worked out for you in the end.. But just as a note, a shafts dings and dents can be fixed without sanding them out.. There are a few methods, depending on the ding/dent..

However, he not only had a ZERO iTrader, he has only made that ONE POST. You sent $260 to a guy who has made one post here ever. You should consider yourself fortunate to have had a cue mailed to you at all. A little more thought next time maybe...

Not to mention the guy selling the cue listed it incorrectly, he said it was a MEZZ 3 ?? I mean, I'm not buying from a guy who does not even know what kind of cue he is selling....just saying
