Just got the explanation of JA supposed bad loser at TS.

I have what I consider a pertinent question that may be related to how Archer felt: If the tournament is a double elimination, how is it that Archer lost after losing only once?

All particpants agreed that the final would be a single race to 13...how one feels is not important.

Hi Paul. I"m not sure how this would be pertinent. They've been playing a single game final on a double elimination tourney for years and years (not just on the Joss Tour but in a multitude of professional tournaments), so this isn't new for Johnny.

I would find it hard to believe that any professional would be somehow negatively affected by this considering how long this practice has been around.

I'm not saying it's fair or unfair, but if a single final on a double-elimination event affected a professional, he might not a win a lot. And that's certainly not the case for Johnny.

....possibly fitting on the % aspect of this thread...Eric, let the cat out of the bag! Nice to see you living it up at the Bellagio...that is hands down one of my favorite casinos ot in Vegas.

Since there is also another thread on the double elim thing. I did bring that up to JA too, I explained my theory that I prefer 2 sets and he said he really didn't care either way. He told me that he has won many tounamants when they do the race to 13 and it only matters to anyone if you lose the first set.

The Bellagio comment was a knock on me. My wife and I went there last year for our 1 year anniversary, had a blast, won a few grand, ate a ton of good food, saw some shows, and really enjoyed the trip. But after 4 days, we were ready to go home, can only take that town for so long.

But anyways, I'm now jealous of Fatboy because he doesn't think the Bellagio is cool. Today I am going to start ripping off the elderly so I can have some money then everyone will think I'm so cool! Yay, I can even be friends with some pro players, but only because of my awesome personality, not because of my money of course.

Can't wait to watch the Bigfoot Challenge at DCC this year. Hey Fatazz, who works for who?

The Bellagio is cool, and after 4 days its too much. I've been there done that. Glad you had fun, and yes it was a knock....
