Ken,
What a gorgeous cue! I love what Joel is doing as an artist and cuemaker.
I would like to thank you for sharing a cue of such magnitude. There are so many of us mere "mortals" on this forum who look forward to seeing these gems.
Congratulations,
Chris
Hey Myron,Wow...
What a wonderful way for me to start a day with a view of a masterpiece like that.
Gorgeous design, exceptional fine lines, the symmetry, complete balance, and the combination of substances (wood, ivory, silver and even gold) is perfect.
Does not get any better.
I hope to see this one at VF before it heads to the vault or another collection.
Myron
Ken, that is a work of art. Joel is building my cue or will be any day. It wont be as masterful as yours, I know what he charges for ebony let alone the ivory, but I have no doubt the quality will be the same. I love your cue.
thats one heck of a cue,
i sure have noticed in the past 12-18 months a few of the "Big" cue makers sure are raising the bar quickly, almost everytime they build a new cue(at this level) it passes up the previous Big Dog Cue, I said this before but it sure is a exciting time to be looking at cues, more artistic improvments than ever going on. Even the guys who are "Wood" cue artists like SW, Sugartree and the like are comming out with some amazing looking wood and really putting more effort into the look of the cues. I just hope that dosent over shawdow playability(it will in a few cases where there is alot of ivory).
Ken-hope your good buddy, nothing new on this end to speak of.....yet.
I have noticed this too. It is great. It really benefits us. I enjoy new twists on classic styles the most but love them all. BTW Ken let me know when you are ready to let that one go.
Chris
Ken,
Thanks for sharing this, " Masterpiece ", with us, as always it's much appreciated !
Joel just keeps stepping it up and up and up.
I wonder what Burton would think, I'm sure he has a big smile on his face
