Just one cue....

I have yet to play with a single cue that played better than any one of the Buss's I have owned. I recently sold my everyday players cue and It hit absolutely outstanding. I loved the titlist I sold just as much but kept it away from play because of the value. My other cue I just sold for 800 was absolutely a players cue even as stunning of a cue as it was it played twice as good. I sold the cue to BANKONIT and received a call last night about how great that cue played. I've played with them all. I always seem to go back to Jim for all my players cues. Mr. Buss, If you read this, You are a true asset to the player community.

If you could have JUST ONE CUE to shoot with, what would it be? Mind you, aesthetics are great....but I'm talking about you owning ONLY one cue...and this would be the cue you would use as a daily player. I would expect certain responses from certain people (scruggsinhand and nick serdula would, OBVIOUSLY, choose Meucci!! :) ), but I'm curious to see what all the cue fanatics have to say.

So.....forget dollar values....forget how many inlays you can cram into it....just go off of "hit and feel" alone.

Just Got A Jim Buss, I Can Now Put The Other Cues Away. In 40+ Years Of Playing I Have Never Had A Cue With This Solid Of A Hit. No I Have Never Played With Cues With A Bunch Of 0000's ($) Behind Them But I Bet You Have To Go A Long Way To Beat This Hit. Thanks- Mystick
 
I have a few cues that I am real partial to... but I would have to pick my 1997 Searing. Flat faced stainless radial pin and progessive taper shafts. It is my favorite of all my cues next to my Gus Szamboti's. Actually it's a tie between my G.S., Searing and Abe Rich and my Benson and my Snakewood Manzino and my 1997 South West and my............
 
I'll choose to three: Zylr(Ebony), Barry(BEM) and South(Macassar)

No more better hitting feedback than these in my billiard world.:)

I've sold a few good ones, so those obviously aren't in the final keeper catagory, from what I have now of Lambros, Judd Fuller, TAD, Bill Webb, Bludworth, Layani, Meucci (OL-1), and Predator P2, I would say the TAD is without question the keeper, and it's a plain jane TAD-1.

Ask me again after January 2007, and I'll tell you who the survivor would be from TAD, Mottey, and Jim Buss.
