Great thread!

Werewolves of London - Not just because of CoM. The rhythm is right on for my game.

Money - Not a big Pink Floyd fan, but same as above...the rhythm is right.

Anything Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Anything ZZ Top.

Classic rock and blues always make great pool scene music.

"Bad to the Bone" by George Thoroughgood and the Destroyers, just because the video is set in a pool room.

Musak

Lots of good songs everyone has listed. Two that I think really have that old style pool hall vibe:

Mannish Boy - Muddy Waters
Boom Boom - John Lee Hooker

Soooo Many..............memories attached to so many songs. Just curious what other people like to hear. Top five?

1. No question. Seger's "Turn the Page."

2. Reminds me of action in the early nineties. Yoakam's "Streets of Bakersfield.

3. G&R's "Welcome to the Jungle." They used to play it ten to twenty times in a row in a dump I used to make a killin' in.

4. "Come to my Window" was played over and over the first time I had all the doors locked in a bar and stacks of money on the light.

5. Conway's "That's my Job" for all fu#%ing kinds of reasons from my two girls to one of the first songs I gambled to at ECU.

Let's hear'em.

Oh yeah, honorable mention..... "Black" by Pearl Jam and "Mainstreet" by Bob Seger and believe it or not some forms of Beach Music.

Great songs, especially the first. And I may just make a new enemy by saying this; I really like Metallicas remake....better. :duck:

My songs: Here's a hint. Two trailer park girls go round the outside;
round the outside, round the outside.......

Van Halens: Jump

ColdPlay: Viva La Vida LOVE THAT SONG!

Rick Springfield: Jessie's Girl

Luciano Pavarotti: Torna a Sorriento (I never miss a shot when this song is on)

Zhong Guo Zhu Ming Ge Chang Jia De De Ma: Tian E (real song...go ahead google that sh*t)

Frankie Yankovic: Songs of the Polka King, Vol. 2 (Vol. 1 doesn't hit hard enough)

Yanni: Flight of Fantasy (my fantasy; to hear more Yanni!)

The Lovin' Spoonful: Do You Believe in Magic? (I do, I watch David Cooperfiled all the time)

The Partridge Family: The Puppy Song (everybody loves puppies)

Okay the first 4 or so are real.....But I am open to new things. Maybe I need to get an iPod and pack it full of some Yanni! :happydance:

metallica's remake - oh man....as they say nowadays - no you didn't. lol All I hear when I listen to that song is the added UUUGHH after EVERY SINGLE LINE!!! But, I picked a remake (Higher Ground) as my jump off point, so I'm sure there are some Stevie Wonder fans not too happy about mine too...

As I stated before though, I don't listen to what is ACTUALLY playing where I'm playing, so even Hetfield's "UUUGHH", wouldn't bother me. :)

Afternoon Delight

Just kidding. The one and only song I actually notice while playing when it comes on is Werewolves of London. For some reason or another I just don't notice music playing.

Enter Sandman - Metallica

Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd

Eye of the Tiger - Survivor

Shoot to Kill - AC/DC

Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd

Beth - Kiss

Cause me and the boys will be playing all night....

Tom mac. Now that was some funny stuff, though it appearead to have gone over some wiser men's heads.

my musical tastes are in constant motion but tonight I dug out my old ..

G&R Lies CD.....

I don't know if it was the music or me or both... but I was draining balls like a herd of hookers...

Might be stange

This might be strange to most, but...

"Black Water" - Doobie Brothers

Something about the rhythem just gets me really focused.

The only song I've ever heard with those lyrics is Hair of the Dog, by Nazareth

Haven't heard of Master of Sparks.
