ITS ON!

I just bought the stream. Justin is practicing on the stream table. Match starts at 5 PM Central time.

Dear Teacherman: If you are reading, the stream is great. Any chance you can make the score board just a hair smaller so the wood on the rail is visible? Thanks.

Bought the stream, awesome job.

One thing I would like to really commend you on is the commentary. Minimal, mostly the click of the balls, mentioning things only when the situation suggests a comment is warranted. A lot of streams could and should take a lesson from this. Great job.

Welp, that was pleasant while it lasted...

/sigh

Teacher, any chance of day one action being replayed during the day today? Not a big deal, but it would be cool for those of us who purchased the stream and were unable to watch last night's play.

Thanks,
Aaron

Very good stream last night. You can't beat $7.50 a night for clear strean and to top players on a 9' in a pit. Thanks, Johnnyt

Very good stream. I'm not a fan of the split screen view, but it was a worthwhile experiment. Agree that Teacher is doing a very good job of the commentary as well.

I also agree that it would be nice to have a replay for those of us that might miss some.

Also, does anyone know how many have signed up to watch? There must be a lot based on the interest I've seen on Facebook and here.

I liked the stream a lot.

I know the room was very loud due to the baseball game, and it seemed you were doing something special with the mics, to try to cancel out that background noise. But, it sounded like the robot R2D2, very unnatural. Maybe it would be better to allow the background noise in? It might add more excitement to the match for us viewers.

I was back an forth on the split screen. At first I did not like it, and then I did. The overhead view showed the shot angle from a different perspective, and that helped the viewer get a feel for the shot. Its a tough one for sure to know which is best.

Thank you all. My streaming goal at Teachers and OnCue2.com is to provide good professional events in high quality....and....most importantly....I want the players to get paid.

I have expenses to produce a stream, both from my producer (Derek Sexton, who does an outstanding job and puts in an enormous amount of time) and the cost from Audio-Videoweb who handles the stream for us. But, my goal is to give every penny outside of those costs to the players. If we can grow this to a major money maker, I would like to recover the cost of the equipment that I fronted. But, my current benefit comes from what everyone spends at the bar and grille. If the stream can cover the 'added money' then it's a win/win.

Justin Bergman is St Louis' first high quality professional player since Louie Roberts. He is very instrumental in helping attract quality events and I'm excited to have him on board as our house pro. It is through his contacts that we can produce these events. One of our next goals is to have a $2000 Entry Fee Tournament with $5000 Added, 10Ball, on 9' tables, The week after The Derby.

P.S. We will work on the replay.

Teacher, I want to say I was very happy you were keeping stats. I know you probably missed a few here and there, but it was great to have you keeping B&R, misses, etc. That ads interest to the viewers.

Also thank you so much for having the score up 100% of the time. Its my biggest pet peeve in all of stream land when the score is only up once in a while. I know it was off a game once or twice when you forgot to update it, but that's way better than not having it at all:)

Finally, the background you offered on your pool rooms and on Bergman's development as a player was also very interesting. Instead of talking about nacho's on the air when there was dead space, you filled it with interesting and relevant pool related topics.

Thanks, I'll be purchasing from you again. This was my first time on your stream.

I agree with comments so far. I love that the score is always up. Overall, a very well run stream. Although, I must admit that the mics have some kind of weird feedback or robotic background noise going on.

As a side comment on the match, I expected Justin to play much slower than he was, but once he got rolling he actually plays quite fast. I actually wouldn't call him a "slow" player. In fact, he is deliberate and makes sure to walk over to the object ball often to make sure of things, which is quite acceptable in my book.

Some call him slow. I think deliberate is a better description.

Watch out when he's playing quick. :D
