Justis Case Interior Upgrades

Changing the interior of a Justis case voids the Lifetime warranty.

I will honor the warranty and agree to fix any problem on a Justis case if Jack will not honor his warranty.

In my opinion as with many other peoples opinion also it decreases the value of a Justis case.

That is your opinion but people are more concerned with the value and protection of their cues. In addition the interior can be changed BACK to the old interior at any time in 5 minutes. So in a way it is PRESERVING the value by not wearing out the original interior. You might as well say that using a Predator shaft on a Black Boar devalues the resale price of the Black Boar if it's sold with the original shaft.

Contact Mr.Justis concerning his opinion and he will be glad to explain in detail and also explain his opinion why you would not want to replace the interior.

Justis contends that our interiors WILL damage cues. Well, with more than one hundred of these interiors sold and installed I have not had a single person say that their cue has been damaged. On the contrary I have had many testimonials as to how happy and at ease the customers feel about their new JB interior.

As well I have thousands of cases out there with this same interior and again no one has reported a damaged cue to me.

a jack Justis case is one of the only cases that increase in value so you better speak to him before you decrease the value of your case and void your warranty.

Again the value can NOT be decreased by changing the interior. Justis has claimed that he makes the cases loose fitting so that the interior CAN be changed. So with that in mind the interior can be changed BACK to the original one.

Your claims of Justis cases increasing in value are also false. One only needs to go through the sales history on this site to see that Justis cases DO NOT sell for more than their original retail price.

Please stop trying to scare people away from upgrading their interior to one that is much more protective to their cues. A person does not play pool with their case, they play with their cue and the cue is the thing that needs protecting not the "value" of the case.

Lastly, I will have a Jack Justis case in my booth for comparison. Anyone is free to compare for themselves. My opinion on this is that you should be buying a cue case for practical use first, personal enjoyment second, and investment third. Throughout history cases which are deemed the most protective are well padded and form fitting. Any case that doesn't fit this very basic criteria isn't much of a "case" no matter how pretty it might be.

How would anyone know if you had a different interior in the case and changed back. Is there some kind of tell tale mark it leaves? lol kind of doubt it.

Thanks ..can't wait to see you at the expo!

You may want to check the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 before you state something like this. I know a bunch of car dealers who got in trouble for voiding car warranty because of after market parts installation.

Yep

His interior like exterior will last a lifetime and protect your cues just fine! I have the Golden Tascarella in one as well as Szamboti's and Bushka, Hercek,Searing etc... Jack is the man when it comes to QUALITY CASES and Ron Ross teamed with Jack, well it don't get any better! If you want John's interior get his case and leave Jack's as he intended it to be!

Which means that his warranty is not need if the exterior will never have a problem.

Why is this such a problem? It's a modification that harms nothing and Jack claims he designed the case to allow the interior to be easily changed.

It's like changing a tip or a shaft. Do you drive with factory tires? We live in a culture where people generally feel that when they own an item they are free to modify it as they want to.

Lol well some of us don't like the sound of our cues rattling around. Anyway it's none of your business what I do with MY justice case. This wasn't an opinion thread it's a for sale thread.

Hi John,
I sent you a email a couple of weeks back to see if I can get a interior for my J.Flowers case. It's a 2x4. Will these fit?
Thanks

Johns interiors are second to none, no other even comes close in terms of protection. A Barton interior on a justis case, or any other case in an UPGRADE no matter which way you slice it. I love Justis cases but the interiors do in fact suck, better believe I will be upgrading. Great offer John!

Agree 100%.

John,I will be talking to you at some point next week on a custom case if you have the time at the show.Keep up the great work.

Maybe Jack should upgrade his interiors or buy them from you:thumbup:

:-) Neither of those things is ever going to happen. Although I should mention that the Justis case I have to use for comparision is a 2006 model and as far as I know Jack did in fact switch to a slighty more padded on a few years ago, he calls it the sport interior. The Chinese supplier of his interiors, the same guys making Justis West cases, did decide on their own to add more padding around the perimiter at the top but I don't know if it's also at the bottom. My Justis has no padding at the bottom, just thin nylon sleeves that don't extend all the way to the bottom.

Exactly. Voiding a warranty for doing something that the manufacturer designed it for is unethical in my opinion. People stuff cloth and paper towels into Justis cases to add more padding and space them. Jack himself used to tell people to use marbles to prop the cues up. Does any of that modification void the warranty?

When you come to the show you are in for a HUGE eye-opening experience on just what is happening when you hear that sound. Coming soon to a theater near you.

I will check the emails and pms to find it. Sorry I missed it. I think you mean you J.EF Q Case am I right? The stock J.Flowers Tribute case already comes with the padded interior.

For the J.EF we can modify it to work but that requires more effort than I can do at the show.

Thanks. When you get to the show this will be so clear to everyone. Finally after all these years I am going to prove what I have said a million times. If you love your cues and value them you must stop by my booth. Even if you don't buy a thing you will get an education you won't forget. I warn you though that some of the imagery may be disturbing if you are a cue lover.

Agree 100%.

That's what I am there for! :-)

I wouldn't trade my interior from my JB case for anything.

You wanna know how secure it is? Really? You know how John holds cases upside down to show you nothing falls out?

Yeah, that works TOO well sometimes.

I literally had my cues STUCK in my case when I put all of them all the way down inside.

It took my friend and I 15 minutes to get one of the butts out. I don't see any way these cues could get damaged inside of this case, ever, period.

Best interiors out there.

I don't know if that's an endorsement :-)

Next time tell me you have a 25" butt. I will send you a spacer you can use to keep it at the right height. I will bring some with me and mail it to you from SBE.

All I have to say folks is that it's ON. Stop by the booth if you want to REALLY see what is happening inside of cue cases.

World debut live on Thursday at 11am.

My buddies case has his cues rattling around all day in a tube I can squeeze with two fingers. Mine has so much soft padding that they can't come out sometimes.

Which would you rather have? I think I know.

Short of dropping my case off of a three story building I don't think I could do much else to hurt the cues.

Didn't know you made spacers also. I would have told you about the 25" butt otherwise.

Here is the demo of how to do the replacements for those who didn't have me do it.

more interiors?

Hey john,
Do you make upgrade interiors for 2X4 Its George cases? Like a GTF direct replacement? And if you do, is it an upgrade that most people with a little mechanical comprehension can do? Also, (sorry about the 20 questions) I just bought a used GTF prestige and was wondering if the interior can be removed to be cleaned if it has chalk residue in the bottom or the opening? I haven't received the case yet so I'm not sure if it will need to be cleaned, I just want to get my ducks in a row if needed. Oh, and if you do make the Its George upgrade, whats the cost?
Thank you in advance,
Tom
