The price for a Justis West case is going to be $420. Do you think this will make used Justis cases prices go up?

where did u find the pricing on these cases and when are they available?
Michael Hoang from Omega Billiards posted the price in the Justis West thread on the main forum.

ic, well the price on used justis cases will probably go up a little but that all depends on these justis west cases. if they're fancy and sell for 420 then original justis cases might not go up so much.

also why is it called justis west anyways, china is in the east.

In my opinion they will struggle to sell the cases at that price. But that's my opinion. I haven't seen a case yet either. They may turn out to be excellent cases.

i dont mind. id rather have a original jack but jack just wants his legacey to live on. i have nothing negitive to say about that. jack is one hell of a guy. even tho he wouldnt take my order at valley forge :***(

well we'll have to see how they turn out first.

if talismans can sell for 350+ brand new i dont see why these cases cant sell for 420.

I heard that the quality are the same as Jack's original case so i guess $420 is a fair price and beside Justis's name is tag on the cases.

i talked to dennis swift this week and i can ge a top end with my name down the back painted 9 ball rack and metal ring on bottom 370$ shipped completed in 3 weeks. cant beat that

All of this kind of depresses me. I've always wanted a Jack Justis custom case, but have yet to be in the financial situation that would allow me to order one (paying for school is a pain in the ass). Especially since he is not taking orders anymore. I like Dennis Swift's and Ron Thomas' cases, but IMO there is nothing more beautiful than a Jack Justis original case, and what sucks is i've known what my custom would look like for so long but havent been able to order it. C'est la vie. Guess i'll just have to order from another case maker down the road. Best of luck to Jack.

I think a lot of people will just on the WESTS, as they may not have the fund for a Florida Made Justis. Here is the link to SEE POST # 72.

I talked to Jack about these cases and they are made in China. He said he could not tell what case was made by who. That meant the case was very well done.

That is exactly what I meant to say. There are also a couple Instroke cases very close to 4 hundred and those are selling well either... and anyways: We are talking about a Justis case here!

Exactly

Yes, but a talisman case is not even a very good case in my opinion, fit and finish are lackluster

just like the newer instrokes are not as good as the german made instrokes...actually a better example are the new george compared to the old george cases.

Hi guys,

I though I explained why I could not take your orders at Valley Forge or Vegas. At that time I was backlogged with orders that I knew I would not be able to fill for several months. Taking additional orders would put me even deeper in the hole. It is now the middle of June and we are finally getting caught up and the plan worked. In Vegas, we did start taking names and before we left, the list had grown to 26. Everything is moving along now and we currently taking orders with a 30 day turn around.

Its funny how information gets changed over time.....I will continue making cases as long as I can but just not as many as I did in the past. I still plan on doing something special with a limited number of cases next year.
