Kaci calls out the top Pinoys. All of them.

can you link? never heard dennis like what you describe
It's on Facebook. I seem to remember you don't do Facebook, so I'm not sure if you can see it.

How interesting! I went to share the link, and it has either been removed by Dennis O. or he changed the viewers to "friends only" and not public. Other people on Facebook that shared the link of this video, it's not there either. I'll bet he decided to remove it. I hope so.

I hope so too… As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that de-escalation is usually the better move EVEN when I KNOW I’m right. 🙄 I still catch myself slipping now and then, but I’m way better than I used to be. The goal isn’t to “win” the argument/fight anymore; it’s to not let it win me.

jeez. well, must have been bad i guess, and i'm not gonna inquire more if you don't want to write it out. dennis has sponsors and pro tour contracts so probably wise of him to take it down

Dennis is the one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet in person. We all have our “buttons” that can be pushed that can make us say or do things that are an aberration of our normal demeanor or behavior and perhaps Kaci’s insinuations and accusations without any real proof and simultaneously insulting every player of a particular nation hit a nerve in Dennis. I’d like to see Kaci try Dennis for high stakes, he isn’t going to like it. And for those of you here that think Dennis is “over the hill”, he’s 46 years old, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone tougher for the cash than Dennis.

What kind of suicidal idiot would go to 3d world country with that much cash? It's insanely dangerous! Nevermind the players and backers themselves, what if the local gangsters get to hear about it? He should definitely NOT go to the Phillipines. Play somewhere where law and order exist and maybe the players are not waving assault rifles around. If the pinoys think this is easy money, surely they could spring for plane tickets?

On the other hand, maybe this is just trying to make up for the wax gate accusations and is just posturing. In which case, nevermind the above.

It's not exactly a 3rd world country but I understand your sentiments.

Well, since the cold war is now over, the term may no longer be apt. Lets call it a "developing" country, then. Point being, there is rampant poverty, crumbling infrastructure, crime and corruption, making it a less than safe environment in which to bring large quantities of cash. The Phillipines has great pool players, friendly people and a lot of charm. Bringing large amounts of cash is still not a good idea.

I’m not trying to be politically correct and yeah the Cold War is over but If you’re talking about “Third World” in the past sense of the word the Philippines still doesn’t fit the bill. Maybe in the past it did. Your term would more accurately describe countries like Somalia , Yemen, or chad off the top of may head. I’m sure there are some others. The Philippines are more developed like Mexico India, Vietnam, or Brazil. Maybe middle tier but yes still has some serious issues. I know many people that go the Philippines and have no issues maneuvering. I also know a few retired military that live large in the PI.

I didn't watch the whole thing but the 3 takeaways I got was him telling Eklent to come the f on (paraphrasing), that he'd play him ALL day whatever game 8b/9b/10b/straight pool/1 pocket, and that Filipinos have a lot of heart. Oh, and that he has chocolate milk for brains.

in fairness, this post could be about albania as well.

either way, this waxgate stuff has enough tribalism as is. poor carlo got like an hour of recognition (anyone still remember? world 9-ball champion?), since then it's been all about wax, wax, wax.

on the barking stuff, i would take an in form kaci against anyone not named fedor, filler, svb. but none of these online challenges of his has ever come to anything. i certainly can't remember any such match

I'm with you. We need to let this go. Yes, those who make the rules and those who officiate must take note of the situation and do what they must to ensure fair play going forward, but pro pool must move on. Carlo Biado is our World 9ball champion, and all must hail the king.

We all understand that Kaci possesses a top gear that would give him a chance to beat any player in the world (including Josh, Fedor, and Shane) in a long race. Still, we haven't seen much of that gear in 2025. It's always a pleasure to watch an in-form Kaci.

If these matches happen, I reckon they need to be on neutral ground, meaning not in Europe or Asia. I tend to think of the Derby City Classic as the World Capital of the action scene, and I suspect that Ray "Big Truck" Hansen would salivate at the idea of having Kaci play the Filipinos one at a time in his Derby City action room in January. OK, maybe I'm just dreaming here.

Didn't SVB get hijacked a few years ago?

you dont bring all the money to some pool room that has it known there will be big money there. stupid to do and you get what you deserve.
when i played rosie i moved the game up to a different town and bar. same as where i took him and fats to.

the only way you play in an action place is if you want to get the side bets. everything else is bad for you. or
unless you are putting on a spread or stalling.
