Karl Boyes move at world cup

Just like all of your posts.

I am sorry you can't comprehend I will go sloooower for you. You are good at one thing, group thinking, as your intelligence level doesn't allow anything else. Follow, as you will never lead.

lol

More rubbish talk on Boyes. You guys are great at inventing things....

I agree with this^^^^^^^

Come on, you all think he'd shark on a jump shot with a full rack of balls on the table?

You all see too much. Reminds me of the local woman's league around here.

There is no sharking at this level of pool.

When I play I see nothing but a table and balls. I see nothing happening anywhere else.

I thought the pockets looked kind of easy too.

Next thing they'll be accusing Boyes of breathing during the opponent's shot! lol

The rapid head bobbing is absolutely ridiculous. Troll away, but no professional should be dicking around in an opponents line of sight.

Pay attention you twat.

I was the first to point out how horribly flawed your first post in this thread was.

I saw several shots where he stayed perfectly still. Not sure if it was sharking or not. Either way. Shame on you if you get sharked by such minor things. I would think something like Earl running his mouth the entire time would be more distracting.

You can only shark yourself. These are supposedly professional players, and should be able to "block out" any distractions. If they can't do that, then they are not very good professionals, imo. In the 'old days' (1950s-1970s) people sharked all the time. It never bothered the real players...it should be the same with today's players.

Humans are humans. "Should" is nice, but "is" is reality. All people are distractable. Some more or less than others. While they *might* be able to "tune out" obvious distractions and the gross lack of respect that goes with them, as professionals, the one thing they definitely can do is sit still and not provide distractions to tune out.

I must say what would really be funny and make pool exciting is if Ko Pin Yi got up off the shot, walked over to Karl Boyes, and smashed his teeth in with the butt of his cue. Then tell him "its ok if you move now...I see some teeth here...and over there...go ahead and do what you need to do."

This is quite an embarrassment. (Karl, not your post Scott lol)

Shoe shaking = TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL

Eye blinking/winking = Only Mr. Fantastic could stretch that far. :D:D

I love how he looked down and up like 6 times in a 12 second span.

Total dick move, and yet he's the first to bemoan others for having an advantage.

He's like the little kid who calls everyone a cheater while he steals money from the bank at Monopoly.

Just an absolute child.

Best description I've read on him.

No one's here to knock on his game. He plays pretty sporty, though definitely not in the great top

What's important is his attitude towards the game and his opponent is not a good example for the sport.
There are more signs that tells Karl doesn't have that much respect towards others, or is really a more self-centered person.

If anyone watchec the ceremony, while everyone was giving team Taiwan hugs, Karl went straight up to mess with Ko's hair, of course Ko was friendly enough to just laugh it off and gave him a hug.

Sure some might say that's a friendly joking move, but Karl showed no intentions of hugging Ko at all, instead just want to mess with his hair. Besides I doubt they were even close consider Ko's limit ability in Eng. You can see Ko went on to fix his hair few seconds later.

Honestly everyone can tell Ko cares alot about his hairstyle compare to other TW players, and just put yourself in the shoes or exchange Karl and Ko's position, what would you do if your opponent just came up to you and mess up the hairstyle you love and care about. You might just tell em to F Off. Heck they haven't even took the photo yet.. talking about respect.. sigh:o

Come on, this is absurd. It was clearly a friendly joke, and it was pretty clear Ko took it that way.

It's just a supporting evidence of his character, I didn't say he's being a dick for doing that

Imho, you only get the privilege to be "different" or with some "character" if you're like top
3 or the best in your sports. If you're not that good, it's just both bad for you and the sports. Good examples like Ronnie O, Tiger woods, Balotelli. etc..

If only the top three players in a sport are allowed to show any character, you're going to have a very boring sport. Honestly, I think Boyes is due some criticism in this thread for some of the videos posted - mainly the first one, the other three seem inconsequential to me. Whether it is intentional or not, that much movement in your opponents line of sight isn't okay. But the video of him messing with Ko's hair all looks in good humour.

And Balotelli is a terrible example when you're talking about the best in a sport. He's more of an equivalent to Boyes than he is to Ko, Wu, etc.

I'm obviously more a pool fan than soccer fan
Pretty certain Ko's not too happy about the hair messing, surely some TW friends here can ask him directly. He's just kind enough and smart enough to know what to do/show or not in different scenario. Kinda like a comparison between Efren and Earl, cept Karl's not even close to Ko.. not to mention Efren or Earl. ;)
