According to Jam on another thread "she" has changed her mind and her and Keith will not be attending. How sad and disappointed especially if some people planned to go to specificallyto see him in action again. I know there are plenty of other players to concentrate on and have fun watching or playing against but it begs the question? When did they notify Grady they were not coming and thus opening a spot for the ring game which was full an announced 11-22. So I will assume this is how Fatboy got in? So Fatboy took Keith's place? That should add to the ring game excitement. lol. Makes you wonder what is going on behind the scenes.

This does not seem the case
It seems they pulled out on a whim. I doubt it has anything to do with a banker. I am sure Keith could get staked in the game just like John S.got staked. They should handle the ring games with a down payment for the commitment and if you cancel, penalize some of the entry. IMO. I mean this is an advertised event and it was publcized who would be playing.I am sure accu-stats has got to be real disappointed Keith will not be there. That probably will cost them a lot of sales. I sure would be pissed. It would be like Madonna not showing up for a concert.

I personally don't know HOW she can even tolerate all the snide comments, second guessing and slamming that she gets here. If your picking up the tab for their travel, hotel & entries then you can question their decisions regarding which events they attend or not, or even when they make that decision, otherwise it shouldn't be anyone's business to question their choices.

Several posters ragged on her pretty bad in the 'Mosconi Cup Antics' thread. It is like a feeding frenzy. Blackjack made a cameo appearance. Probably had to come off the golf course to get a jab in. You can read the thread for yourself. By the way THeOne, I don't think calling her a racist is the term you are looking for, being predudicial based on country is called jingoism.

Keith is famous in the pool world as much as Madonna is to the music world. Pool players would go way out of their way to see Keith as would people for Madonna and if you dont show up everyone is disappointed.
Maybe I should have compared the disappointment to Tim Mcgraw not showing up at a concert. Does that help the confusion?

you did anything wrong, but how did you know to even try to get in. The ring game was filled on 11/22 and posted by Grady. Jam just posted they are not going now yesterday. You already posted you were in way before that. Just seems curious. It seems if Grady was aware Keith was not coming he would post for another top player to take his place.

Keith made a verbal commitment and supposedly put up the money as Grady wants it up front and unless there was a legitimate reason besides being fed up and quitting like Jam always does when she gets upset. You know if that decision was made not to go recently it should have been posted in a thread where everyone could see it as was when she announced her and Keith were going. That's how it goes down......each and every time .... Now for Keith to pull out of an event b/c of something that happens on here at least 3 times a year..... that is absurd.... I am willing to bet money that there is something else behind the choice, or at least I REALLY REALLY hope so....
