I was checking to see if anyone could tell me if Keno board are made with an angel on them. Are they made flat? If not does anyone know the angel? Thanks in advance

I played a lot of Keno back in the 90's. Great gambling game. And yes the entire front of the board has an angle or a ramp so to speak. I don't know what degree it was but it was pretty easy to get a ball up it.

Thanks, I know about the front but I was wondering about the flat surface of it. I have played it before as well but I just wondering about if its flat or not. The ball seems to roll off it pretty easy. Thanks again

Mine needed blocks

I had a room a while back. We used to put small 2" wood blocks under the board near the top rail to give the board an incline and insure balls would "swim" off the board if they didn't drop in a hole...so I'm not sure but the board was probably flat.

Balls could get stuck behind other balls already in holes...if a player puts them back in play and they drop in a hole they belong to that player. But unimpeded balls would swim off the board and roll back on to the table...probably averaging back to mid table.

Keno and Amos boards are flat.to make the angle for the ball to roll off you lay a yard stick that is 1/8 thick under the back of the board beneath the rail.

Flat

I have a collection of early Keno/Amos/Poker/Baseball boards, all flat with front bevel. One baseball combo board had a variation a pal owns that is beveled only in the center of the front, with the side front edges a flat barrier. I agree w others here, if it isn't flat it was probably modified.

The board is flat. If a ball dies on the board it's spotted.
The bevel on the holes helps keep a ball moving.

My dad owned a few pool halls in Charlotte back in the 80's and 90's.We used to play that tons back in the day. It was tapered on the front. The back had some wood to elevate it somewhat for the balls to come up and be able to go back down. I still have a few from those days in storage. I loved that game. It went away quickly..3&6-5&10 was the game of choice for the everyday players..
