I bought this one from Ed Young a few years back and had David Kersenbrock make another shaft for it. The cue was made in 1992. Has the rolling K logo. Very lightly played. Alton Takata made some very nice joint protectors for it. $5000.00. No trades. My wife tells me I have too many cues.

Butt 15.6 ounces;Shaft 4 ounces.

Market

I think you will be able to tell what's up with the market shortly.

I actually was surprised to see that the market is a little better than I thought it was.

I sold two Ed Youngs and a Kersenbrock and have some interest in the Petersen and the Black, so it's not too bad.

I really like your style

I personally like how all your cues are players . and the cue comes with a 6 pack of shalfs to go! I always try to double up on the shafts too. Ed has a great players cue Reputation as well. Nice wood too- I just love the old school look. To me it's a Martin , Schrager look-SW. (has the sound of gold- I'll bet. ( The joint protectors are setting it off. ) mark

Bump for Derby

I'm bringing this down to Derby. If anyone down there is interested ask around. I will probably be in the Straight Pool Room quite a bit.

I believe I have an old kersenbrock cue. You said that you had him make an extra shaft for you? How could I find out where to find him? I would like to have him refinish it and sign it... to have him authenticate the cue. My cue is very old. I believe pre- southwest.. There are no markings on it. It looks almost like yours just different color rings. If you can offer any help on how to find him I would be very thankful.

You have to do it through Ed Young. David works with/for Ed Young these days.

312 519-2505. Best to text him.

Shafts are easier to get done than cues. I bet he would refinish it but I think you might have a tough time getting David's signature on it.
