Nice mini-series of pictures, JAM!
Well, we reap what we sow. That's for sure, and KT will certainly do his time.
I just have to say one thing however..... although I don't agree with some of the methods KT used during the course of his businesses, BUT GAWDOGGIT, HE GAVE THE POOL WORLD A GREAT GIFT OF HOPE, ALBEIT SHORT-LIVED!
And to use the term that JAM just provided, KT gave us some GREAT MEMORIES! THEY CAN'T TAKE THAT AWAY FROM US-EVER!!

That is for sure. I think you had to have been there to appreciate some things, I guess.
In looking for some IPT photos, I found a couple cute ones. I might as well post them in this thread for the record, for future readers of this forum after I'm gone.
Keith and I were sitting right in front of four lady pros, and they all scrunched together to allow me to take thier photo. This was at the players meeting in Orlando at the King of the HIll. Everybody was happy, full of enthusiasm, after learning what the IPT vision was. :smile:
Unlike most pool competitions, this was one of the first times I had experienced an event where it was gender-neutral. Ladies and men were welcome.
I can't remember the lady's name in third place, but it's Allison, Gerda, ??, and Kelly.

It's kind of revealing that the majority of the bashers of the IPT and Kevin Trudeau were not a part of the tour, did not experience any of the coolness of it, yet they continue to have strong feelings. If it ain't the Open, if it ain't Barry Behrman, if it ain't Bonus Ball, it's Kevin Trudeau. He's the Flavor of the Week, I guess.
At the IPT Vegas tournament in July 2006, each player got a goody bag with a shirt, hat, coffee mug, lapel pin, DVDs, and all kinds of cool stuff.

I'm not a basher of the IPT, I just don't have any sympathy for someone that scams the elderly and other folks just to make their own life better. His vision of the IPT was very good and he did some great things, I just can't help but think based on his history before and after the IPT that the pool world would escape being another one of his victims.
He has created a lot of bad karma for himself and the piper is wanting his due. I'm sure he has hid most of his assets well enough that he will still have wealth when he gets out and the people who bought his lies will know what it feels like to be a pro pool player ...... the checks in the mail.

I just don't understand why the crowd jumps on Kevin Trudeau and not AzB-ers who have done the same thing you are accusing Kevin of. It's like everybody turns a blind eye.
I agree to that as well. There has been way to much of that sort of thing going around. I have no idea about how to save pool, but I know what I would avoid if I were in that position. Pool tournament promoters need to start building a honest and dependable reputation, if they continue down the path of the last several years the players will give up on them and there will be no tournament.
This years open was a start, but you have to admit, Barry has more work to do to win back peoples trust....but it's a good start. I hope it continues.
P.S. Just for the record, I'm not accusing KT, he has been charged, tried and found guilty. He did it, he knows he did it and we know he did it.He ain't the first and probably wont be the last unfortunately.
