You know Kevin we spoke about getting away for a few days to catch up on life I had a much better place in mind then the hospital man. They won?t let you sleep for crap in there. And they are always checking blood, noisy , etc.... Next time wait for me and we can actually go somewhere to relax. Hurry up and get the bug out and get well soon. I bet things are piling up at home.
 
Thanks everybody for the well wishes. I printed all 3 pages & took them to Kev and it really lifted his spirits. They are going to release him tomorrow afternoon. I think they'll be glad to get rid of him.:)

Could this be why they are trying to get rid of him? I saw this in a North Carolina newspaper that the hospital was kicking him out. Now we know why!. :D

But Kevin i hope you get well..and you have my pitty.. i mean there are only so many times you can wipe ..before you just start patting with a baby wipe..hahaha... ohhh that was so bad of me. Get well soon buddy

Somehow I missed this thread until just now. Take care of yourself. Nobody needs a cue so bad that you should work sick. Get well first.

I know from my own experience running a small business
that its stressful and can be overwhelming at times .If you
are sick you gotta get the focus off the work and on you for
a while . Hang in there buddy , sending prayers your way

OMG a cuemaker that actually cares about his customers knowledge of problems before it becomes another problem? I think there are more than one cuemaker that posts on this site that can learn a thing or two from this. Rep to you Mr. Varney!
 
Get well soon Kevin. And thanks for posting Mrs. Varney. Its nice to know
that even when a cue maker is alittle under the weather, his friends & clients are aware of it.
 
Sorry to hear you are ill Kevin. Incidentally I finished another one of your shaft blanks and man this is the best hitting chunk of lumber ever, so you better get well soon I may need some more :D

sorry to hear you are not feeling well. maybe you need to take a few weeks off , mrs varney will probably agree.
the weather here in brevard is getting better every day. nice place to relax.

Hi everybody this is Kevin's wife. He asked me to make this post. As a few of you know he was in the hospital late last week with a pretty bad stomach virus. They had released him and we thought he was ok. Well he passed out last night in the shop so he's readmitted now. They say he's fine that he was just dehydrated. They are going to keep him for a day or maybe two just for observation and to get some fluids in him. He has several cues finished and some repair work that will be shipped out as soon as he's released. We just wanted to let everyone know the situation so no one would panic because he'll be out of touch for a short bit.
