No doubt he's a monster player, but he simply lacks the big titles to be considered Hall-worthy. Unless he starts stringing US Opens and World Championships, I doubt he'll ever make it. Pinoys such as Orcullo, Pagulayan, and Alcano are miles ahead of Kiamco in terms of HoF recognition. And IMO Orcullo and Alcano being Hall-worthy is debatable.
Orcollo will get there first imo.
Great player for sure. Seems to do his best work on the barbox but I've seen him play great on the bigs too. His stroke reminds me a little of Alan Hopkins' and is different than a lot of the Pinoy players.
I personally watched Kiamco lose a ten ahead 9 ball set for $1,000 dollars playing Scotty Townsend on a tight valley bar table at Shooters in Olathe in 2006

he seems a little timid and quiet, good guy though. i saw a match of earl/shaw vs kiamco/bustamante, and he made the errors that cost them the game. either way he's still a good pro. seems to be gaining in age to be winning any major titles at this point of his career, I doubt he'll get the HOF call. he's just never been a dominant figure.
Kiamco is one of my favorites, quiet, unassuming and a real badass mofo.

I agree that Alex is a shoe-in.
If you look at the "major" titles, Dennis and Ronnie aren't too different from each other. If anything, Ronnie has the edge winning the the WPC 9-ball and WPC 8-ball (in the same year). He was also the US Open runner-up twice.
Dennis, on the other hand, won the WPC 8-ball but hasn't come close to winning the WPC 9-ball or US Open. He does have a few DCC titles, including this year's Master of the Table.
But I agree that Dennis definitely has the edge over Ronnie overall due to Dennis' many more wins in other big tournaments, both here and abroad. But if Dennis were to stop playing pool today, IMO his career still hasn't earned "shoe-in" status. He will if he wins a US Open or WPC 9-ball. Bustamante didn't get in until after he won the WPC 9-ball.
As for other shoe-ins who are simply waiting to turn 40 are Hohmann, Appleton, and SVB. It can be argued that SVB hasn't earned shoe-in status due to his dearth of international wins, but three US Opens and two DCC All Arounds (there still hasn't been a European that has come close to winning the DCC Master of the Table) are enough for me.
Fun debate. On a side note, IMO they should bump the minimum age requirement to at least 45 years old.
Just as an FYI and clarification, as this is the Billiard Congress of America, the requirements are for significant U.S. performance. That's part of the written requirements. This is why Steve Davis and Ronnie O'Sullivan (completely worthy of any Billiard Hall of Fame) wouldn't be recognized any time soon.
SVB and Dennis not only fit the category, but I will be beyond shocked if they aren't first-time ballot shoe-ins.

Yeah, yesterday I so happened to look at the HoF list and wondered what the heck Ceulemans was doing there.
Yeah, I think back then putting in the greatest 3C Billiard Player of All Time (at the time) whose vast portfolio wasn't really in the US was questionable, but he did have two World Championships won in Las Vegas. So, I think those legitimized his induction into the BCA Hall of Fame.
