Whats up with the Kid? Read his book and loved it. Very well written. He talked about the "movie". Have not seen hide nor hair of this boy. Anybody on the east coast seen him?

This question comes up around once a month and the answer is always the same.

Lives on the East Coast, teaches pool, and doesn't compete hardly at all anymore. Definately doesn't travel to play since he had a heart attack or something similar a while back.

Nothing new on the movie front. Lions Gate owns the rights, so it'll collect dust until the rights expire or they find some way to turn it into a slasher flick.

Do you think Jack Black will make a good Danny?
Got Danny's book for a Birthday present, pissed me off when I got to the last page. I just wanted it to go on for a few hundred more pages.
Highly recommended, now I have to get Jay's book.

Last time I saw him was at the Super Billiards Expo in 2008. He really didn't look good. His girl friend was with him. It's the biggest I've ever seen Danny. With heart problems and all that, I'd hoped he would have been on a strict, supervised diet! Hope he's OK now.

He was a Player for sure. If the desire comes back, he'll be there again.

I hate to be critical, but he was in Dallas about 2 months ago. He's an impressive player but very uninpressive individual. By not taking care of himself his game has dropped off tremendously and will continue to do so.

Seth Rogen would pretty much be Kid Delicious were he to get a part like that.

I think a semi comedy/drama with Seth Rogen as Kid Delicious growing up into pool and moving up through the ranks would be great.
