Kid Delicious

If someone talks to Danny tellem "The Saw says B A N". Oh yeah, also tell him phone phobia is a very serious disease....

Danny was at VF the year before last selling personalized autographed copies of the book. His was the first table I looked for this year, but was disappointed to learn that he wasn't there. I read the book several times, loved it, and was looking forward to seeing him again after learning so much about him.

He's a uniquely gifted person in many regards. As for personality, he's awesome. You could walk up and meet him for the first time and he'll start talking to you like he's known you forever. He instantaneously disarms people around him and puts them at ease with his extroverted friendliness. The type of guy you admire for his personality alone.

I wish he'd start posting here again too. It would be nice to know how he's doing and what he's up to.

I was kind of thinking that Grumpy might have been alone in his opinoin. It seems strange to me that this forum puts up with people that would have the gall to put down or pick on somebody that has accomplished so much and has so much to give back.

I've spent the better part of 2 years reading the posts on this forum in my spare time at work, and it seems like a lot of pros and top players take un heeded and un warrented flack from bangers like myself. Why?? I kind of think what makes this forum so special is the fact that one can post a thread and maybe have the chance to then communicate with the true greats. I mean come on! Thats awesome!!

I play a lot of golf as well, and I can tell you that Phil Mickelson or Tiger Woods could care less about my inability to lag putt, or what I think of Arnold Palmers short game. However, on this forum, you could put up a thread about a great road player like Chris Bartram, or a legend like Keith McCready and you might actually get to hear from the person themselves.

Its struck me that this forum seems to be the last vestige or gathered trust of a game/sport thats unfortunately in decline. Either we all stick together, or we all figure out a way to sack the game of texas hold em.

Heres to Danny  I hope he's doing well.

Well put matt. I too would like to see danny on tar that would be awesome. Or see him posting on here at least.

Buy the Cue- not the books

Troy- Koinnkid still has Danny's Capone. Want something to talk about buy the cue start playing. The cue filled with Ivory, like 4 shafts. Troy has great prices. I saw The Kid Del play yrs back, He was fun to watch, shot lights out. Lee Hewagon played few 400. sets, with Danny. Jimmy Wetch the local Pro wouldn't play. mark

I bet Grumpy has prostate problems and dribbles his shorts lots. Kinda embarrassing to play pool with a wet crotch. Thats why hes always Grumpy.

great book

I'm about halfway through this book and I can't put it down. Very entertaining for pool lovers. From what I've read so far Danny would be a great guy and a real help to aspiring pool players
