Kid Delicious

I spoke to Danny briefly at a Blaze 9-ball event at Sandcastle Billiards a couple of weeks ago.

He said that he was away from tournament competition for nearly three years (he said he suffered a heart attack), and has only been playing seriously again for the last 10-12 weeks. He did indicate that he is once again working on his game and that he expects to compete regularly going forward.

Chicago Billiards was everything the book said and more.

They even took out ads in the pool mags, inviting road players to come on up and that they would give any who came a place to stay.

It was a second floor PR that was easy to miss.

Lisciotti was there 24/7 and kept everyone entertained.

Somoeone tell danny that The Saw says phone phobia is a very serious disease, but there is a cure.....

Personally it seems to me that he's a really nice guy. I read his book in one sitting.. He really did go deep into his personal life like when he was a kid and got picked on and beat up by bullys. Then he found pool and it was all over... He found his nitch (as all the great players do) and thats when it all started.

He has always struggled with his weight, depression and self-esteem and it made you really like him. It made you see how great his accomplishments are due to the hurdles he had to overcome. If you havent read his book i highly recommend it.

I really do hope i get to meet him while up in New York for some of the Predator events and if your reading this Danny good luck to ya
