Kids cues

Anyone have any recommendations on a cue for kids. My daughter is 7 and my son is 5. They are dying to play daddy on my table but a standard cue is just too long for them. Cost is also an issue as I don't want to spend custom prices. I love them but not that much :D

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Go to anyplace that sells tables and you should be able to pick up some shorter house cues. My kids have always used the 48" cues I got with our table.

Just go down to your local billiards store. They should have multiple length one piece cues for sale. My daughter is on her second size up. I have a nice 2 piece she told me she really liked the looks of and got it unbeknownst to her. When it came I told her it is hers as soon as she can break and run a rack.

That's when she stopped wanting to play! LOL

I wonder how much a cuemaker would charge to just cut down a house cue and make it a 48" cue?

7 is a little old for this but my 5 year old is using just a shaft and it fits him surprisingly well..(though he is standing on a milk crate)
