Agreed. J wants to refund the money, but cannot.

But if there is no money in the paypal account can't/won't they go to the verified account? Just asking as I have never had a claim filed on me.

Maybe. I don't know. But it would have to be one HELL of an involved process before anyone would be permitted to extract money from an individual's personal bank account without any kind of authorization to do so. If I'm JFORNEY...I call my bank and tell them what's going on here...and see if there isn't someway I can assure myself that no one makes a withdrawal on my account on behalf of PayPal without my say so.

Hey boss. No one's questioning how you got the money in your PayPal account to make that portion of the payment...or why you split up the payment between PayPal and Western Union.

What's it going to take for you to grasp the idea that you're not receiving that 780 back in any fashion other than the manner in which you sent it? I see by your PayPal statement, that you clearly do not object to receiving money via PayPal. Why can't you take this 780 back that way...especially when in this instance...its exactly the way you sent it?

This is really one of the most maddening things I've ever witnessed.

u will be able to use ur paypal once u pay me my money.

Instead of thanking me for not claiming the cue and damages.u r calling me mother***** scamster.

Sorry sir i am not.

Pay me or else paypal will.why dont u talk to paypal that u made a mistake and u took 2 payments and u want refund this amt to me.they will refund me and ur account will open
i am afraid that is the only way this will end

Monto does not need to lift the DISPUTE in order to receive a refund from JFORNEY....infact even if Monto decided,or has already escalated the DISPUTE to a CLAIM through paypal....JFORNEY would still be able to refund Monto in CLAIM mode even though paypal has not made a judgement in either direction...JFORNEY refund Monto his funds, and quit playing games.....

*laughing* You know...the fact I've refrained from namecalling at this juncture...is a miracle. Yes. You paid him that money. Yes. He sold the cue to someone else after taking your money from you. Yes. I think you should get your money back.

YES. He is TRYING to GIVE you your money back.

NO. You are not letting him send it back to you...because you won't lift the dispute.

I'm going to have to start charging you by the post if I have to keep expressing the same things repeatedly. And if I have to make a PowerPoint presentation for it to sink in...I will...but that's going to cost even more...and you're already out 780. That...and I won't accept PayPal OR Western Union.

Hayden,

No disrespect intended Sir, but Monto does not need to lift the dispute or claim to receive a refund...call paypal if you feel I'm mistaken...

I have a question. How does he do this? The current status of his PayPal account is such that he cannot withdraw, or add, money to his account. His account reads ZERO. There's nothing in it. So how on earth is he going to pay that money to Monto...when it's not even there? That's all I'm saying. I'm not familiar with the process of transferring funds that aren't present. And I'm not being sarcastic with that either. If this was you...and your account would not permit you to add funds to it....how would you go about refunding Monto, via PayPal?

:) Hey there Dale. Pleased to make your acquaintance. I'm not disputing that at all. I was just curious as to how this occurs. How does the refund get processed from an account with nothing in it? Does PayPal just give him 780...and JFORNEYS account goes negative?

JForney36's word isn't worth a steaming pile of crap. How do you not notice you have an extra $800 in your account. You should have refunded his money as soon as it was transferred to your account. If you are seriously telling me that you didn't notice the extra $800 in your paypal then I call that straight up bullshit. If you had done the right thing in the first place you wouldn't even be in this situation.
There are multiple things you did wrong in this transaction. This is just one of them.
I had a deal with him before and his word isn't worth crap. He did not do what he said he was going to do and proceeded to insult me after he did not hold up to his word.
Anyone who is dealing with him is doing so with big risk. I wouldn't touch a deal with him with a 10 foot pole. imo.

If he lifts the claim, can he he refile a claim if he doesnt receive his money? if he cant I wouldnt lift it either.
I would have to believe that paypal has a way to put money into your account to settle this dispute.

By lifting the dispute, isn't that like telling paypal/ebay the complaint has been resolved?

I don't know either party nor have had dealings with either party, but I can see where Monto P2 might be leery of doing that as then JFORNEY36 is cleared and doesn't have to return anything.

JFORNEY36 is afraid that if he returns the money another way, Monto P2 will not stop the dispute and might get his money back twice.

It's a standoff and one of these guys needs to step up and give a little.

.

All Monto has to do I lift the claim and state that we have come to an agreement. If he doesn't receive the funds back he still can reopen the claim. This is simple people. I've never had such a hard time trying to pay somebody... I WANT TO GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK>>>

Don't put the blame on him - you should have never taken the money in the first place. You are the one that needs to go the extra mile to figure out how to get him his money back that is IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GIVE IT BACK TO HIM. You need to call paypal and see what your options are. You double dipped and got caught. Make it right.

..

Hayden,

Trust me JFORNEY doesn't have the funds in his paypal acct. because they are in transit to his bank acct. it takes 3-5 days for funds to transfer.....he can access his acount to issue a refund to a person that filed the claim....it's b.s.

I will send money as soon as the claim is lifted from my account and I can do so.. Until then I can't do anything with my account transfers. Your all right this all smells fishy with alot of new monto p2 here lately and this happens. I've happen here for years and I have a great rep and will take care of this but I will not send funds via western union because this doesn't settle the paypal claim.. Sorry I have 2 paypal accounts for problems like this. I will just use my other account and you won't get paid. We can do it the simple way. You lift the claim and I will pay you in 3-4 business days as this is how long it'll take to transfer funds from my bank account to paypal. If you don't want to do it this way when I beleive there is a scam here.

Thanks

Just an idea, why not use your other paypal account to pay him that way paypal has a way to track it and see. Then the claim could be lifted without either one worrying.
Dont kill me it just sounded like an easy way to me

I'VE SENT MONEY USING PAYPAL ALOT.....AND I'VE NEVER HAD TO TRANSFER FUNDS FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT, WAIT THREE DAYS, AND THEN SEND MY PAYMENT.

I'M CONFUSED, IS MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT SPECIAL? I JUST CLICK SEND MONEY, AND USE MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AS THE SOURCE. IT'S DONE INSTANTLY.

WHY DID JFORNEY NEED TO WAIT 3-4 DAYS?

CONFUSED:confused:

P.S. JFORNEY, NOTHING PERSONAL. I'M JUST CONFUSED
